You hated it, it burned you to your very core. Sometimes you wished you could turn off your feelings, it did more damage than good anyway. You were never good enough for anyone and this was the perfect example why.
You watched him from your locker and couldn't help but feel utterly jealous, it sucks because you're not the type of person that easily gets jealous but this time was different. She had something you wanted, something that was once yours until she showed up and snatched him right from under you.
It was none other than Choi jongho, your ex best friend and partner in crime. That was until he saw her, it was like you never existed to him and all the memories you shared together vanished into thin air.
"Today you'll be operating with partners for the week, now pay attention while I call out the names "your teacher explained and held up a piece of paper.
"Jongho you'll be working with y/n"He announced and your eyes widened, shrinking in your place.
"You've got to be kidding me you groaned, laying your head on your desk, it couldn't get any worse than this right?
"Are you sure I can't change partners?"you heard jongho ask, that only seemed to cause more harm. Did he truly not want to work with you?
"No"the instructor said dryly and you stood up, packing up your things before walking towards the teacher.
"I'd rather take that f"you said, pushing your way past him and out of the doorway. Your parents would be upset, but you'd instead face them than be with jongho.
"Ms y/n!"you ignored your name being called and skipped class for the remainder of the period.
--------
You stared face to face with jongho and nearly shut the door in his face, unfortunately he stopped you before you could."Please I just want to talk"he said, earning a groan from you before you moved out of the way.
"Fine, come on" you grumbled, letting him come in before leading him to your room.
"You haven't changed it" he said, walking over to a picture of you and him together. It was just a week before he started dating his girlfriend, he was smiling brightly and showing his gummy smile.
"What happened to us?"his voice caught you off guard and you looked anywhere but him.
"You changed"you told him and he smiled slightly before looking at you.
"I haven't "he said and you shook your head.
"You have, I know you better than anyone or did you forget that too?"you retorted and moved around him, picking up your book bag.
"Is that what you believe? That I forgot about you?"he asked, you could hear the pain in his voice.
"You did"you said, looking at him before moving to sit down on the bed.
"Ever since you started dating her I've been invisible to you and today you acted like you didn't want to be partners with me"you explained to him and he ran his hand over his face, obviously stressed out.
