"Tommy, where are we going?" Elena whined as she followed the boy in front of her. The Shelby family was still not talking to Tommy as they believed that he had betrayed Freddie and therefore Ada. She had tried to talk to each of them about his innocence but they all refused to believe her.
"You'll see soon enough. Didn't take you to be so impatient" Tommy gruffed. It had been a rough few days for him and he had taken it all very personally. El could see just how much effort he put into making the family stay together and be happy, so for them to turn their backs on him felt like the ultimate betrayal.
"Maybe if you didn't walk so fast I wouldn't be complaining" Elena responded having to jog to catch up with him again. They had just entered the cemetery and Elena was beginning to wonder why she had come along for what Tommy had said to be a walk.
Despite not responding Tommy did stop for her to catch up and he slipped his hand into hers to keep her close. The pair walked along the graves careful not to walk directly over anyone. They approached a grave marked 'Daniel Owen'.
"This is it," he said gesturing at the grave before them.
"This is what? Where you want to be buried when you pass because I hate to say it but it's already occupied and I doubt whoever Daniel is he would want to be shackled with you in the afterlife" Elena answered sassily.
"This is where the guns are buried" Tommy rolled his eyes at her earlier comment as he pulled out a smoke offering her one.
Elena knew all about the guns that Tommy had happened on earlier this year. He had told her about them a few months ago something she knew he didn't take lightly. If he were to lose the machine guns, he would lose all of his leverage over the inspector. Tommy was playing a dangerous game.
"Why are you showing me this?" Elena asked. Despite knowing about the existence of the gun for a while it was a whole different thing to know the exact location.
"Because I trust you and like I said you are my secretary now so it is about time you know everything," he said which warmed El's heart. He had really held to his word about treating her more like an advisor.
"You're becomings soft" Elena whispered as she leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"Don't tell anyone" he said with a smile on his face.
"Cross my heart" she replied.

"Did you speak to her?" Tommy asked. Elena and Tommy were currently sitting at the kitchen table talking when Polly returned. She had delivered food to Ada who was currently refusing to speak to anyone.
"She didn't speak back," Polly said not meeting Tommy's eyes
"Well, did you tell her?" Tommy asked and Elena noted the slight desperation in his voice. Ada had refused to even see Elena when she went over to try to explain the situation. One thing Ada and Tommy had in common was how stubborn they both were.
