I woke up to someone poking my cheek. I opened my eyes and saw Victoria in front of me. I jumped slightly out of fear but soon started laughing.
"Good morning Vic, I'm so sorry that I took so long in the shower. I don't know how else say sorry," I started apologizing.
"Hmm, you could say sorry by tasting the cake that we baked yesterday," she suggested and I nodded.
She left me to get ready for the day.
I quickly got dressed and ran straight to the kitchen.

Victoria was standing on a chair, trying to reach my top cabinet to get the plates.
"I knew that you were short, but I didn't think you were this short."
"Oh shut up, aren't you a catholic or something like that? You're not supposed to make fun of others," she giggled and finally got the plates.

The cake looked so, so good.

"Where do you keep you knives?"
"Oh, right here. I'll get them."

------------

We were now laying on the couch, watching a movie and eating the cake.

This was supposed to be a sleepover but it turned into Victoria staying at my house for the whole day. I didn't mind it tho. I had nothing to do anyway.

"We should do this more often," she said.
I agreed, "We really should."

"Angie, I'm bored."

"I have some board games...?"

"Oh my God! Yes! Which ones do you have?"

"Umm... Monopoly, Uno-"

"Girl, get the Uno out! I'm so good at this game, you don't even know."

I got up and got the stack of cards.

And so we started playing.

After a few rounds we were bored. Vic kept winning.

"Okay, so, now what?" I asked as I sat down on the couch next to Vic.
"Why don't we go for a walk? It's sunny outside, plus I have to take Chili on a walk today," Victoria suggested.
I agreed and we both got up. She grabbed her and put it in her bag.
I grabbed my keys and we both sprinted to the door.
"Ladies first," she smiled and let me go first. How cute.
I locked the door and we both got into her car.
She started the car and started driving.

We needed to get her dog but we weren't going in the direction of her apartment, rather the opposite.

"You look confused. Why?"

"Shouldn't we be going to your apartment?"

"Ooh, no. My Chili is currently at my ex's house."

"Aha, cool."

We stopped in front of a house.

"Wait for me, I'll be very quick." She sprinted out of the car, towards the door of the house and started ringing the bell like crazy. A very pretty girl came out with the dog I assumed was Chili. They talked a little and then Victoria picked up the dog, said her goodbyes and came back into the car.

"Angie, this is Chili. Chili this is Angie." I pet the dogs head. Vic put her down in my lap.
"Hope you don't mind her being in your lap while I drive. She's very cuddly and loves people but I just can't have her in my lap when I drive."

"I don't mind, she's pretty cute."
"Well, I'm glad. Hope you two can get all just fine." She smiled and started driving us to a parking near the park.

She parked the car, we got out and she locked it.
I put Chili down and grabbed her leash. I was gonna give it to Vic but she told me that I could walk her.

"Let's go to the park, shall we?"

I nodded and we headed off to the park. The walk was very nice. It was sunny outside and warm but again, not too hot to kill us. We finally got to the park 5 minutes later.
"Let's sit on that bench!" Vic happily said as she skipped over to a brown bench which was in the shade.

We sat down and I wiped the sweat off my forehead. Yes, it was winter. And we have only been walking for a very short amount of time.

Vic bent down and picked Chili up.

"Why is it so hot today?" She asked as she took Chili off her leash.

Chili decided that she was gonna lay on the little stepping stones the park had. Thankfully, some of them were in the shade. Vic smiled and looked at me with such adoration.

"Did you have any pets when you were little?"

"No, I didn't. My parents didn't want to get attached to something that could die so fast. Did you have any pets as a kid?"

"Oh, I sure did! My dad once brought this brown dog. He said he'd found it on the street. We went to go give him a bath and oh my God! The dog turned white. It was so dirty that it had turned brown. He was with us for quite some time."

"Aw, that's actually really love-"

WOOF!

"Chili! What do you want now? How are you not tired?" Victoria asked as she picked her up.

"Hey, Vic. It's been so lovely with you yesterday night and today but I should really get going. My family is coming over for Christmas and I have to buy things and get everything ready," I said as I started getting up.

"Oh! I totally get it! I'm going to Denmark soon, my family lives there. Well, half of it," she replied as she started getting us as well.

"Wait, you're Danish?"

"No, well, half Danish."

"Ooh! Cool."

------------

After that day with Vic, I felt so much closer to her. And I felt far away from God. But I didn't care. Sinning never felt so good. I then remembered that my family was gonna come over. Now all I could do is stay at home at wait for them.

I had to wait until Christmas.
