"Soo, what do you think? Are you in?" Victoria asked.

"Oh, I'm in! If you're gonna be paying me that much then I am so in!" She smiled. Who would have thought that I would get a job as a personal assistant?
"Well, I'm going to talk to the others later, and I'm sure they will all be very happy. I'll text you tomorrow where to meet and stuff since you need to sign some contract," she explained while I just listened.
"Since you're going to be working for us, why don't you tell me a bit more about yourself?"
"Erm, I honestly don't know what to tell you."
"Okay, how about we start with... do you have any siblings?"
"Oh yeah! I have two brothers, Manuel and Mattia."
"Very nice, how about I tell you something about me?"
"Okay?"
"I have a sister, her name is Veronica."
"Oh, cool."

DING!

Somehow we managed to hear that. It was Vic's phone. She picked it up and sighed.
"The idiots have left us. Apparently they got too drunk and decided it was best to go home without telling us. Looks like we are alone."

Marie left with me!?The only thing I could think about was how was I gonna get home. I didn't have any money.
"You look nervous? Are you okay?" Vic had a concerned look on her face.
"I don't know how I'm gonna get home. I don't have any money."

"Oh don't worry, I live close, you could sleep over."

NOPE! No way was I sleeping at her house.

"You don't have to-"
"Well, I insist! From now on, you are my friend. Let's go Angie! It's getting pretty late anyway."

----------

She opened the door for me and I went in. It was pretty cozy. She closed the door behind me and locked it.

"Do you want tea?" She asked me.

"Sure, what type of tea do you have?" I asked as I leaned back.

"Well, I have mint, black, chamomile-"

"Oooh, I'll have the black tea," I answered.

"Great choice, Angie!" She smiled and ran to the kitchen to make me the tea.

She came after with a tea cup in her hand. She set it down on the table and sat next to me.
"Careful, the tea is hot."
"Okay." I carefully picked up the tea cup and took a sip.
We sat there for at least half an hour talking about life. I didn't think me and her would have a lot in common. We both love dogs, the same flowers and so on.

"Where is your dog?" I asked her as she mentioned that she had one.
"She's currently at my ex girlfriend's. Me and her are still good friends and you know, we got the dog when we were together. We share her, you know, half of the week with me, the other with her. We're like divorced parents with a kid."
She started giggling. I didn't find that funny. She was a lesbian.
"So wait, you're a lesbian?"

"No, I'm bisexual, but I do think that I prefer girls." Now I was just confused, I knew that lesbians and gays existed but bisexuals? That was a whole new thing for me. I was also starting to feel very weird about this. A girl who likes girls invites me to sleep over at her house. Very weird.

"So, what is a bisexual?"
"You mean you don't know? Well, it's someone who likes both men and women."
"That's new," I replied.
We just sat in silence. It was really, really awkward.

"Oh look, it's already 11 pm, we should get ready for bed," Vic broke the silence by getting up and leading me to the bathroom so I could change.
I changed into the pajamas she gave me.
I came out and Vic looked a bit nervous.
"What is it?"
"I forgot to tell you, I only have one bed. We're gonna have to share. I hope you don't mind."
I gulped.
"Y-Yea, okay."
We went into the bedroom and pulled back the covers. We both got it.
"Goodnight Angie."
"Night Vic."
Victoria quickly fell asleep while I was still awake. It got pretty cold but the thick covers weren't keeping neither of us warm. Vic scooted over to me and threw her arm over my waist. I froze. She then put her head on my chest and went back to sleep. I didn't know why but my face started burning up. Soon after that, I fell asleep.
-------------

It was probably still night when I woke up but my throat was just so dry and I needed water.

Carefully, I slid from under her and went into the kitchen.
I probably spent about 5 minutes trying to find the glasses. When I finally found them, I grabbed one and poured myself some water. While I was drinking the water I heard the bedroom door open. I didn't think much of it. I turned around to put the glass in the sink, turned around and saw Victoria, standing right across me. "And what are you doing up at such hour?" She asked me. I could hear her smiling.

"Drinking water, what about you?" I answered, shivering a bit since it was cold standing on the kitchen tile, barefoot. Vic noticed that and came closer to me. "Well I woke up and realized that you weren't in bed with me," I leaned a bit on the counter as she came even closer. Our faces were a few inches away from each other. My heart started beating faster.
"Vic, have you ever heard of personal space?"
She started giggling and backed away.
"Sorry, I keep forgetting. You're just too beautiful."
What!? Did I hear that correctly? She called me beautiful?
"What did you just say?"
"You heard me, you're beautiful Angie."
"Erm, thank you. I think we should go back to bed."
"Yeah, you're right. Besides, it's really cold."
We both went back to the bedroom.
Vic straight up jumped onto the bed.
"We should do this again, it feels like a sleepover. I miss the sleepovers that I had when I was a kid. Don't you?"
"My parents never allowed me to do that," I replied, feeling sad. I used to be always jealous of other kids when I was young but with years I learned to cope that I was never going to have a sleepover.
"Well in that case... I think the next time we do this, I'm sleeping over at yours," she smiled.
"Alright."
She fell asleep while I still kept thinking.

I guess no peace for me.
