Harry Styles: Forever Setting our Souls on Fire

I knew everything that I needed to know about Harry Styles as soon as he sat next to me on my plane ride to London. As he immediately introduced himself to me like he was just another passenger, and as I stuttered over my words in the most embarrassing way possible, we both thought we would never see each other again after we got off that plane. Oh how wrong we were.

Somehow the stars aligned and my first piece at my new journaling company was about Harry Styles and the tour he had just gotten back from. As many of you have already figured out, I will not be writing about that anymore. Instead, I wanted to capture who Harry Styles was as a person, and as someone I got to know personally.

I have never met anyone like him. Everyone who knows him, and I mean really knows him, knows that he will never let anything stop him from getting to where he needs to be in life. There was nothing that could hold him back from following his dreams. I have never met someone with so much ambition, so much so that it was contagious to everyone who was around him. He lit up every room he walked into, he asked you for your name and remembered it, and he set something alight inside everyone he met.

I had always heard that he was a genuine person, but I never actually believed it until I met him. From surprising me with coffee at work to showing me photos from a photo album he had put together after the tour, he made my job the easiest thing ever. There is not one bad thing to be said about him. He is the person people say he is, which is oftentimes not the case.

On top of all that, he is a really great cook and it pains me to think that not everyone got to know this about him.

If there is one thing I regret about this project it would be that I didn't get to meet him sooner than I did. Meeting him on my plane ride to London was an accident, but the best accident. I never would have thought I would get this lucky to know someone like him, but I will forever be thankful for the time we spent together.

So here's to Harry Styles, a life cut way too short, an angel who gained his wings. May he rest in peace.
