2,000 years later....

Legend says that people who couldn't complete their stories in their previous life are reborn with their memories intact. It turns out that legend is true.

She was reborn into a new era, under a different name but with everything else the same. She remembered who she was. General Choi Haewon. And that her only purpose in this life was to reunite with her Jinheung. She knew he would reincarnate as well, but she still hadn't found him yet.

In this life, her name was Kim Youngseo, and she was a senior in high school. And currently she was the last person in the night study class. Everyone else had already gone home.

Just then, the teacher entered, talking to someone behind her. The other person stayed at the entrance. The teacher said, surprised, "Oh, Kim Youngseo! Why are you still here? It's fine. I want you to meet our class's new student, Park Hyungsik. I have to go now, so show him around. Alright, bye." With that, the teacher left.

Youngseo cleared her throat and called, "Hyungsik, you can come in." And Hyungsik entered. And the world stopped spinning. The first time they met again, there was a spark.... there was some energy.... they felt that they knew each other forever.... even when they had different names in a different era.... their old souls knew who they were. After all, the red string of fate doesn't tear apart such bonds.

She had found him at last. Her Jinheung. Jinheung said softly, "Haewon." And Haewon answered by running up to him and hugging him. She said, "I've missed you, my moon." Jinheung pecked her forehead and said, "I know. I'm sorry I made you wait. But the wait was worth it, to see the stars in your eyes again."

Haewon smiled and said, "Let's complete the story this time....".

The End

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

I was happy with how the story turned out (especially the ending). And I hope you enjoyed reading it as well.

Considering how the Kdrama ended, I wanted to give Jinheung a happy ending, but I wanted to experiment with my writing style, so I wrote a sad ending and then made it happy.

Since this book is done, I have a bunch of new ideas for my future stories (which will take some time) and I liked coming up with each of their stories. So, I hope you guys check it out and enjoy it as well!

Thank you for the constant love and support!

Author-nim out! ;)
