After Jonathan encountered that demon, He was once more prepared to make his journey to... somewhere. To be truthful he had no idea where here even was, Equipped by only his sword and some bandages, Jonathan makes his way through the endless night.

Treading carefully through the path, he felt a wave of nostalgia as memories of when he was on his noble quest against his evil brother Dio, resurfaces, seeming like it was only yesterday. It brings great emotion to him, reminiscing the adventure he put on a determined smile, though it wasn't the same without Zeppeli teachings along the way— or speedwagons overt narration at their every decision.

Jonathan: . . .

Silence

The cracking of the leaves and dirt and snow crunching fill the empty void of a forest as Jonathans anxiety shoots up. Trot. trot. trot, Where did these... 'things' even come from? Was this another Dio situation? Did a stone mask befall another unfortunate person? Were that actually all the intelligent life here? Questions like this filled his mind. Coming up with possibilities, distracted from the cold wind blowing, and seemingly the demon stalking behind him.

Demon: *Dayum that's a biggg fellow...

The demon observed Jonathan from afar, thinking of which meat he'd eat first, and which muscle he'd save for last(hint: it rhymes with j-azz.)

Demon: Ballsy move walking through the mountain at the dead of night, Do you really think all that muscle save you from me?

Finally seeing Jonathan stop to kneel, inspecting something. The demon took this opportunity to jump from his cover, clearing already nearly half distance from ambush distance from Jonathan.

Demon: What a catch! At this pace I'll reach status of a lower moon!

(Jonathans p.o.v)

Jonathan: "A zombie is following me..."

Sensing a presence behind you.

You keep Track of the stalker as you try to figure out as much as possible from it while it follows you, already deducing it's most likely a zombie-wait, what is it even called? Vampires? Ghouls? Devils??? Either way, it has been some time and it still hasn't drawn from its cover. Kneeling down, you preparing to counter-surprise attack the 'demons' suprise attack, discreetly sneaking your hand on the handle of your luck pluck sword. You bait him in—

.

Then snap. Seeing the creature jump out of its spot into the air. Finally making your move, you breathe sharply and unsheathe your blade. Swiftly slicing It in half, then sheathing in one swift stroke. The hamon rich blade making quick work of the demon.

Jonathan: "Hopefully that's the last one tonight. Huh?"

Hearing a clatter on the ground, You see several scrolls of sorts drop from the persons 'kimono, at least that's what you recall they're called if your memory serves you correctly.

Jonathan: huh, wonder what's this...

Opening one of the document you see a bunch of kanji's, and English letters below them! It was a simplified translation of the... Japanese alphabet! How convenient...(*cough*) investigating the others, you find it was more advanced lessons on the Japanese language. (*fucking Deus ex machina*)

You take them with you on your journey, studying along the way, learning a slow steady pace. Almost (key word) a novice at reading hiragana in more hours already and able to pronounce a few simple words to form the most 'BASIC' greeting.

(King crimson!)

Walking. Walking was all you've been doing for the last few hours. And after all of that, you finally reached... still nowhere. You sighed, only reaching the opposite side of the mountain, you continue practicing your Japanese.
