EXPECTANT EYES STARED INTO (name)'s tired ones. "Why?"

"Why not?!" Eijirō puffs his cheeks out, hands on his hips as he stands in front of (name)'s slump form leaning back in his chair. Eijirō loudly exhales. "Come on, dude, you and I never hung out before! And you never go outside." It isn't an odd thing for him to push (name) into some physical activities including people other than Katsuki. He isn't the most sociable person, Eijirō noticed, but it isn't as if (name) is terrible at talking to people considering he's witnessed, himself, (name) immediately adapting to anyone who approached him. He just never does the approaching. I mean, he's always seen talking to Fumikage, someone very similar to (name), but then there is the mysterious equation of (name) + Izuku = friendship.

A green bubble boiled.

"Look, it isn't that I don't want to hang out with you," (name) says. "Izuku and I planned to go over to his house after school." Eijirō purses his lips.

"Then he can come with..." I can't keep being selfish. Izuku doesn't deserve any more trouble than what Katsuki already brings to the table. He gets why they've been hanging out a lot, that Katsuki has always despised them so much as making eye contact; it isn't any wonder why they're considered best friends despite never interacting during school hours. Bakugō still isn't here. I'm surprised they aren't talking right now. Two friends who don't really speak. I can kind of relate. He doesn't spend enough time with (name) mainly because of Katsuki's overprotective attitude whenever he catches someone with his brother.

"How about we head to lunch together after class?" (name) instead suggests.

"W― wait, seriously?" Eijirō excitedly leans forward. "Sure! That'd be awesome!" His chance finally―

"Fumikage, wanna join us?"

Crash and burned went Eijirō's hopes.

He pondered (name)'s invitation. "Sure, I wouldn't mind the company." Slowly Eijirō was replaced from the conversation, reverting back to before he squeezed into their previous talk.

Another failed attempt.

Better than Midoriya.

He immediately shook away his mental notions. Horrible notions he knew weren't right nor he was in a position where his spitefulness had rational meaning. Eijirō knows better. Especially not after saying Izuku's and (name)'s relationship didn't deserve restraints and understanding why they take any time they held in the palms of their hands to spend together, alone, talking, growing closer while almost twenty-four-seven they ignore each other. Eijirō grew disgusted actually registering what he thought. Utterly evil, he is.
