Becoming a Servant *Chapter 3*

I can't believe I just meowed for this guy. This is really going to be the worst. I have to do this though. If I don't then my secret will be exposed. I can't let this guy win.

*Bell*

Lunch is over and we have to get to class but I wonder if this guy is gonna make me do anything embarrassing in class.

"W-we should get to class before we're late." I said.

"Shouldn't you hide those ears and tail then?" He snickered.

"Oh dear. I forgot." I tried to hide my ears and tail again but I was still very nervous.

"What's the hold up?" He asked me impatiently.

"S-sorry. I'm j-just a bit nervous."

"Nya~" I heard the little kitten as he emerged from Kai's bag.

"Oh that's right! Kai, why do you have a cat with you?" I asked with curiosity.

"Well, I guess I can tell you. So you see, he's not really my cat. He's a stray I found about 3 months ago. I can't keep him in my house cause pets aren't aloud. So I just bring him to school and keep him in a secured place my on street."

"Awe. That's so sweet. I didn't know you had a soft spot." I giggled a little and

my ears and tail were slowing going away.

"H-hey! I do not!" A little tint of pink appeared on his cheeks. He continued speaking.

"Let's just get going already." He finished.

I was starting to feel at ease around him and easily hid my ears and tail. The little kitten jumped back inside of his bag and I told him that we can play if he doesn't jump out during school. Kai and I walked back to the classroom in silence. As we walked in the room together, the class averted their eyes from whatever they were doing and looked at us as bell rang. I wasn't all that nervous but a little more confused as to why they were looking at us.

"Koneko-chaaan~" I heard a cute voice say in a little sing song voice. I turned and saw Ichigo wave at me to go towards her and two other girls. I walked over to were she was calling me and she began to speak.

"Say, Koneko-chan. What were you and Kai doing alone together?" She asked with a smirk. The two girls joined he with her smirk and giggled.

"Nothing, we were just talking."

"Did you two start dating or something? After all, I did see him put a piece of paper on your desk and then he walked off and you walked after him."

"W-what! Of course not!" I actually hated this guy at the moment but I couldn't really tell them why so I just didn't tell them at all.

"Then spill. What were you guys doing together? Hmm?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, w-well... t-that is... um..." I couldn't tell her that I have to be this guys servant. If I did she'd ask why and I definitely can't tell her I'm a half demon. Then all of a sudden someone jumped into our conversation. And it was Kai.

"Study buddies." He spoke.

"Study buddies?" Ichigo asked confused. I was a bit confused too though.

"Yep. Study buddies. You see, I'm not very good in a particular class and she's great in it, and she's not good in a particular class and I'm great at it. So we're gonna help each other study."

"Oh. Sorry Koneko-chan. We shouldn't have jumped to conclusions." She walked with me to my desk and then whispered something to me.

"I don't think its a smart idea to be studying with him. Although I'm glad you aren't dating him because if you were all his fangirls would hunt you done. But still, studying with him won't be a smart choice because they still might get jealous."
