"How is Casita cracking? What?" Pepa asked confused as everyone looked over to the Casita to their right.

It looked alright! They had even been in it earlier!

And it still looked the same! It did! Though Pepa did notice it looked a little taller, which made sense if their family had been growing.

The stage went black as Mirabel's voice was heard, "The house is in danger! The house is in danger! The tiles were falling, and there were cracks everywhere. And the candle almost went out."

Then the stern voice of Abuela was heard, "Show me."

"Why would you tell me in front of everyone?!" Abuela whispered at Mirabel angrily.

Everyone looked annoyed at Abuela as Camilo glared at her, "The house is literally falling apart!"

The lights came on and everyone stared at the uncracked house and a very distressed Mirabel, "What? No, that's...The cracks were there. They were everywhere. The house was in trouble, the candle was..."

"Did you imagine it?" Luisa turned to say and noticed that Gabriela was now the nearest to the family as she switched seats with Mirabel and Antonio, "Huh?"

"We needed a better buffer," Gabriela explained.

Most of the family looked concerned at Mirabel besides a confused Antonio and a clearly annoyed Isabela.

"Abuela, I promise..." Mirabel pleaded.

"That's enough," Abuela cut off with a hand gesture, "There is nothing wrong with La Casa Madrigal. The magic is strong. And so are the drinks."

"And the gaslighting begins," Gabriela rolled her eyes.

"Who even are you?" Abuela asked, looking at her annoyed.

"Actually, yeah, who are you?" Isabela asked, realizing that they really did have a stranger sitting with them.

"Oh, Gabriela Rivera," the girl explained like it was very easy, "I'm a resident of this time, Mirabel's friend and your great-great granddaughter Cas's -"

Mirabel launched forward and covered Gabriela's mouth, "Friend, Your Casandra Madrigal's friend!"

Gabriela gave Mirabel a look as she removed the hand, "considering what me and Cas do I wouldn't say friend."

"Gabriela!" the 15 year old hissed.

"Fine, but this attitude is why Isabela remained single," The other girl muttered.

Dolores squeaked as heard the muttering and looked over to see if anyone else heard that but it looked like they hadn't.

The stage had changed and it was now Mirabel and Juileta in the kitchen.

"I would never ruin Antonio's night," Mirabel pleaded sadly, "Is that really what you think?"

"What I think is that today was very hard for you," Juileta replied as she continued making food for her daughter.
