you paced nervously in the ER waiting room. after reki's fall you, miya, and shadow picked reki and langa up in shadow's car and drove to the ER. all you knew was that reki was bleeding from his arm and head and when you saw him he was barely conscious. you were really hoping he didn't have a concussion or anything severe.

eventually reki walked out with an arm in a cast and sling and a bandage around his head. you all looked at him expectantly, wondering what his condition was. "i've got two weeks for a full recovery." reki said, "but there's not brain damage," he smiled.

you all sighed with relief. "thank god, don't ever scare me like that again reki." you said to him as you went up to give him a hug.

"sorry sis," he said gently as he hugged you back with his arm that wasn't broken.

"i'm glad it wasn't anything more, hope you know you're lucky," miya said to reki. reki broke away from your hug and walked over to miya. "i'm so sorry, miya. i didn't mean to let you down." reki apologized.

"oh i'm not surprised at all." miya said getting up from the bench and walking away from reki. "I told you, no slime can beat the final boss. but whatever, at least it not my fault you looked like a fool out there."

"what'd you say?" reki asked

"he said you looked cool out there." langa answered

you laughed because that was definitely not what miya had said to reki. "get better hearing langa." you told him. miya backtracked and scolded langa for his mistranslation.

"i hate to break up a cat fight but, your boy here is next up against adam. you've got work to do." shadow reminded.

"i'm the worst, i should've never pulled you into this, i'm sorry," reki said to langa.

"don't apologize reki it's not your fault." langa said.

"you sure?"

it was now the morning and unfortunately you had school. you had pretty decent grades but that didn't mean you hated school anyless. like reki had mentioned once before, you were a bit of a loner. sure you talked to your seatmates every now and then, but that was usually to help each other with work. school was boring to you so you hated going. your junior high actually had a lot of students, so you weren't too surprised when you arrived and saw someone who looked like miya walk into the building a few feet ahead of you. you didn't call out though, because you wanted to be sure it was him before you said anything. so you gripped your bag a little tighter and walked faster to catch up with him.

"hey miya," you said once you'd caught up to him. he turned around and looked a little surprised to see you.

"hey slime," he replied. he started to walk and motioned you to walk with him.

"slime? seriously?" you asked. "don't you think i'm just a tiny bit better than a slime?" you joked. you stood next to miya as he changed his outdoor shoes with his indoor shoes, and when he was finished you did the same.

"i don't know actually. i've seen you practice before, but i've never seen you seriously skate." miya replied. you realized he was right, the only person who's seen you seriously skate is reki. ever since you'd gotten to 'S' you never challenged anyone because all the drama happening with adam.
