Monami reached back home at noon. Karan's mom also wanted to accompany Monami but couldn't due to some emergency. So she was alone at her home.

M - yeh Khadoos Shergill samjhta kya hai apne aap ko !? Maine kaha tha usse ki mujhe sabse pehle call kare , par yeh.

Her eyes were full of tears.

M - mujhe baat hi nhi karni isse. Kabhi nhi socha tha ki aisa birthday bhi aayega jahan main bilkul akeli pd jaungi. Mera khadoos mere saath nhi hoga.

She took a deep breath to calm herself down.

M - ek baar check karke dekhti ho ki isse main yaad bhi ho ya nhi.

Saying this , she switched on her phone.
She was surprised to see 50 calls and 110 messages. The first message was at 12:15 and then after an interval of 2 minutes , the messages were sent.

She felt a sigh of relief and then switched off her phone again.

On the other side ,

K - yeh Monami ne messages pdh liye par tab bhi reply nhi kiya. Kahi sach me naraz toh nhi. Par main kya karo , socha toh yahi tha ki exact 12 bje Monami ko call karungi. Kuch toh krna pdega , Karan , apni Rani Sahiba ko mnane ke liye.

In the evening ,

Monami got a call from the office saying there's some emergency , so she needs to report asap.

She hurriedly went to the office , and was surprised to see a power cut. And suddenly out of nowhere power came back with the howling sound of her colleagues wishing her happy birthday.

M - oh , thank you so much , guys ! I wasn't really expecting this.

It was a small celebration in which they had cut a cake and danced for a while. She also got to know that it was her friend , Ayush who had a passion for photography , had planned all this.

M - ayush , the surprise was awesome.

She said hugging him.

A -  pleasure's all mine. Acha suno , i have one more surprise for you.

M - oh , what is it ?

A ( giving her a box ) - khud hi dekhlo.

She opened the box and was surprised to see all her candid photos.

M - oh my good , thank you so much Ayush. This means a lot to me.

A - you're most welcome. I need to ask you one more thing , would you please join me for dinner ?

Monami was reluctant to hang out with her friends , because somewhere she was yearning Karan's wish. But , she couldn't deny him as well. Therefore , she agreed.

At the restaurant ,

They were having their dinner while chit chatting , when her phone rang. It was Karan's call , so she simply rejected the call.

A - is it you bff , Karan ?

M - yeah .

A - aaj hai nhi voh tumhare saath !? I heard you took a leave from the office , so that you can spend sometime with him ?

Again , her phone rang and instead of rejecting the call , she accepted it accidentally and kept it aside.

K - Monami !?

M - ha , voh actually usse kuch kaam tha isliye voh nhi aa paaya.

A - oh , now i get the reason behind you being upset.

M - nhi , it's not like that ,  Ayush.

K - ayush !?

Karan kept silent and listened to their conversation. He knew Ayush had a crush on Monami , and thus he wanted her to stay away from him. Also , he knew that Ayush doesn't like him.
