My smile fell as I let my eyes wander the rest of the group. Some kinder looking faces, some horrible ones. All the eyes staring at me were black, all but one pair.

“C-can I help you?” My voice stuttered just a bit and I lost any confidence that I had obtained from the kindness of these boys mother.

“Kind of. I’m Jason, and I have happened to hear that you are extremely beautiful and have become sort of a game between my brothers. Is that right?”

I smiled slightly at his words.

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as for a game I believe I have been conquered permanently so I would appreciate it if you all um, well if you could leave my room?”  The last part of my sentence came out as a squeaky question and my eyes widened in horror as multiple snarls came at me from around the room.

“Oh shut up the lot of you!” Jason’s eyes flashed red for a second than he focused back on me.

“Well I did hear that you were also sassy and I see that that is correct. We will leave, but first I’d like to introduce you to everyone. I’ll just tell you the names in order and you can figure out who they are eventually.” He chuckled to himself like it was some sort of funny joke.

“Okay.” I pulled my arms in tighter to myself and gripped my towel afraid that it would suddenly release in front of all these men, vampires.

“Okay here we go, we have; Robert, Thomas, Samuel, Taren, Timothy, myself, Bryce, Aiden and Michael, Jeremy, Cain, and last we have Aaron. Did you catch that all?”

“Um, No?” My brow crinkled together as I spun my head slightly to look at all the brothers.

Laughter and sighing brought me back to reality.

“Well I promised we would leave so everyone out!”

Nobody moved and I heard a few snarls of protest. Jason just smirked.

“I’ll tell Mom!”

I snickered to myself as eleven vampires sulked out of the room, most sending nasty glares my way.

“BRYCE!”

My eyes snapped to Jason who was staring at Bryce expectantly. Bryce’s eyes were hard as the made there way to mine. His usual silver tinted slightly with red as he looked my body up and down.

“Stop checking her out and give it to her.” Jason sighed and rolled his eyes at his brother while Bryce growled a little bit.

Bryce’s hand brushed my own slightly while he dropped a small cold object into my hand.

“Your majesty…” His voice was overly filled with sarcasm.

I opened my hand to look down at my mother’s ring. Tears welled up in my eyes and when I looked up only Jason was in my room.

“I thought you might like it back.”

I could only nod in response.

“Here, hang it on this around your neck that way no one will know you have silver in the house. Even though it doesn’t affect us all, we don’t like it.”

I nodded and took the leather cord out of his hand and tide the ring around my neck.

“Thank you Jason.”

Without thinking as usual I threw my arms around his slender well built body and hugged him tightly to myself.

“Thank you.” I mumbled again into his chest.

He returned the hug quickly but then placed his hands on my shoulders and slowly pushed me back.

“As much as I defiantly love and appreciate the hugs, I wouldn’t be friendly with the other guys, and don’t be friendly with me in front of them. They will get jealous and I’ll have to fend them off of you…” He chuckled slightly and I nodded at his words of wisdom.
