I drive to work and after I park, I grab my purse and the painting. I walk into the tall work building and walk to the front desk.

Front desk lady- Rayveon/Ray

Y: hey Ray
R: hey y/n, how are you?
Y: I'm good, how about you?
R: I'm good, you here to sign in?
Y: yes ma'am.
R: ok I got you in. You're good to go.
Y: ok thank you. Bye.
R: no problem girl. Bye.

I pick the painting back up and walk into the elevator. I'm on the same floor as the boss because of my work rank. There are 5 ranks. 1. The CEO, 2. Co. CEO, 3. The Best graphic designer, 4. Second best designer, and 5. The 3rd best graphic designer we have.

If you are in that rank at all, your pay is a lot higher than the other workers. And you get to work more for the CEO, Rather than work for our customers.

My rank is 4. So I'm the second-best graphic designer this company has. The CEO right now is this old guy named Philip. I'm pretty sure he's retiring, that's why we get a new CEO soon.

The CO. CEO is this younger guy, maybe in his mid-30s, whose name is Jake. The girl who's ranked as 3 is named Rose. She's a bitch, always thinks she's better than everyone else, and thinks she runs something. In my and Henry's opinion, I'm a lot better than her at graphic designing.

Henry is the 5 rank he's such a good designer. I admire his work. It's very different from others and that's why he's in the top 5.

I hit the button to go to the 12 floor. It was a 13-story building, and the top floor is mainly for the CEO. After the elevator gets to the 12 floor, I exit and go to my office. I set my stuff down before going to get another cup of coffee.

??: dressing up for the new boss I see. God, you are such a try-hard.

I already knew whose voice it was. It was a rose. This bitch already... I turn around to look at her.

Y: first of all the only try-hard in this building is You. And secondly what the hell do you mean by " DrEsSiNg uP FoR tHe NeW BoSs"?
R: oh don't act like you don't know.
Y: know what?!

I was genuinely confused about what she was talking about.

R: that the new CEO is coming today to take over his spot.....
Y: wait what?!?!
R: oh y/n don't act so surprised. I'm sure you knew that already.
Y: actually I didn't... Now get tf out of my face before I do something I'll regret. You get on my damn nerves.
