"Okay let's go! Line up!" Bucky yelled as he blew the whistle and walked over to us. "Welcome to cheerleading tryouts. It's nice to se so many.... Wannabees" he said and chuckled a bit.
"I mean, we'd want to be us too. If we weren't already on the cheer squad." He chuckled again making me roll my eyes. "Does he ever stop talking?!" I whispered to Bree annoyed and she laughed a bit.
"You need to bring it. Okay? Like... my assistant captains." He said as he turned around look at the Aceys. "First up we have Stacey!" He added as the darker skinned girl looked proud and smirked. "Lacey" he said as the blonde looked left and right smiling as well.
"And Tracey!" Bucky said as the guy did the most awkward pose ever. Like a superhero pose. "The Aceys!" Bucky yelled out as everyone cheered and clapped. "Todays tryouts are going to be easy. The hardest thing you'll have to do is a back handspring funky chicken round off mashed potato split with a robot down powering finish" Bucky said very quickly as Addison and I looked at each other nodding while Bree looked terrified.
"I'm sorry what?" A guy behind us said. Amateur. I thought to myself. "Afraid?" Bucky asked squinting his eyes as Addison raised her hand. "Yes Addison." "Captain Bucky. Was that funky chicken Cajun or shake and bake?" She asked.
"Well I've never heated of Cajun so, spice it up" he answered. "We got this" Addison chuckled as Bree looked even more terrified. "You're going to be fine Bree. We're here" I told her reassuringly while placing a hand on her shoulder as she nodded. "Okay..." she smiled still terrified.
"The mighty shrimp don't think small. Cheer until it hurts" he said as music started to play and everyone got into their positions.
"Listen up it's not so tough I'll tell you how it's done" he sang walking down the line while people were lifting their right leg up as high as possible.
"There's really nothing better than to hear you're number one" he sang walking up to a guy and taking the number one paper of his shirt.
"And I know how to get a crowd right up and on their feet." He sang as he ripped the paper in half just as the guys took the picture. The Acey's pushed the guy away while Bucky walked to the front.
"So if you want them in it. I'll show you how to get it." He sang as he jumped up and did a split. When he landed he clapped his hands and everyone got in position.
"Ain't no mountain we can't climb nothing keeps us down" Bucky and two of the aceys did some moves and when they finished the rest copied."Got that fire in our soul, never count us out. We got one thing on our minds" one of the guys turned the wrong way so Lacey pushed him away.
