Liana's POV

Later that night she was escorted home by one of dads z-patrol officers. The three of us stood in front of our parents while they yelled at us. Mostly Addie but me as well since they found out some how that I helped her sneak out.

"You snuck out? Addison! " mom said angrily "you know how dangerous it's out there?" Dad asked angry as well. "This town is full of monstrous zombies. what were you up to?" Mom said while the officer tried to leave but dad stopped him.

"Uh.. I " Addison started and locked at buck the z-patrol officer before saying. "I was out
With a boy." "Probably a good idea I just leave chief." Gus said but dad stopped him again.

"Now who exactly is this boy?" Mom asked and I cleared my throat... "well?" They both said. "Goodnight chief" "ah!" Dad stopped him again. "You will not cheer and there will be no cheer championship until we meet this boy!" Mom said pointing a spatula at us.

"Right, no cheer championships un...." Dad started but stopped and looked at mom "honey, I... no. I'm not changing my mind" mom said and dad stopped Gus  from leaving again. "Right we need to meet this boy Addison or you'll never cheer again. Both of you" dad said

"What?!" I asked "why can't I?" "Because you helped her so you're just as guilty Liana" mom said and I sighed  "right Gus?" Dad asked in a low and angry voice "goodnight chief" Gus said and left.

Addison and I went up into my room and sat down on my bed. "Soooo? How'd it go?" I asked her with a smile. "You're not mad that you can't cheer because of me?" She asked and I shook my head "nope. This give me a reason to not talk to Bucky for a while at least. Or maybe forever who know?" I joked and she smiled

"I had fun. We went to this party that the zombies had. It was awesome! We danced sang and I even walked in the light garden." She said excitedly. "Light garden?" I asked confused "it's basically a room with light everywhere and the walls were painted to look like a garden. It was so beautiful"
She said happily

"I'm happy for you Addy. I haven't seen you this happy about a boy like ever" I said and she smiled. We talked for a little while longer until she went to her room tog onto bed. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.

"All right mighty shrimp, todays the day we've all been waiting for. It's the homecoming game!" Principal Lee said through the speakers.

"So no cheer for us it looks like..." I said to Addison as we walked towards the stairs. "Sorry..." she said quietly and I put my arm around her. "I told you it's fine. I'm not mad at you. I'm proud of you! You broke the rules to go out with the guy you like. I couldn't be prouder" I said with a big smile on my face as I side hugged her.

"Addison!" Zed said as he walked up to us. "Last night, I wanted to help when the z-patrol arrived but I was just.. I was afraid..." he said. "Zed it's not you fault.. the big problem is my parents won't let me cheer until they meet you" Addison told him.

I just stood quietly to the side listening to their conversation because why not?

"Great! So I'll just win them over with my quick wit and charming smile" he said as he winked at her. "No. Not great.... They don't know you're a zombie" Addison told him "and they hate zombies..." he said sadly "yeah..." she said quietly.

"Well maybe not all zombies? I mean they haven't met you yet and you're a great guy!" I said and they looked at me "right sorry not my conversation.... So I'll just" I said as I started backing up and keeping distance.

"I'm so sorry" Addison told him "I'm sorry. For making things difficult for you." He told her a bit disappointed "no. No. You haven't done anything besides being you! And Lia's right. You're great" she told him as they both looked down until she spoke again.

"You know what? If my family can't accept zombies maybe I don't want to be a cheerleader anymore" Addison said "but you love cheer. It's what makes you, you" he told her with a soft smile.

" I wish ... I could just flip a switch and change everything... but... I can't." She said disappointed before saying one last thing. "Lia and I have to go. We're late for class." She said and I nodded "yeah we're pretty late.... So we might get our heads chopped off but who cares" I joked and they laughed a bit.

"See you later zed and good luck at the game!" I told him as we walked up the stairs to class and he nodded with a smile.

That's it for this chapter. It's a bit shorter-ish but hoped you guys enjoyed it anyways<3 this chapter was less about Liana and more about zed and Addison. I try to do more chapters for Lia. But there will be a bit more about the others while Lia is to the side. If that makes sense?

I said I would publish another chapter this week and I held my word! I've forgotten other times but not this time lol :)
