"Catch me," she said.
Laughing.
Her lover in pursuit.
Happiness echoing in the meadows;
An aubade of sunshine as flowers bloom.
The sunlight broke through her hair.
Her footsteps traced the soft mud.
The wind carried his heavy breaths.
The tulips sway as he passes them.
Running 'til sundown;
Their cheeks tinted pink.
Running to the end of the Earth,
And falling over the edge.
"Catch me," she said.
Falling.
Her lover standing idle.
Melancholy silence throughout the meadows,
A euphonious sound as nothing but the trees whisper.
