"Mmmhm, ugh," Bella groans. Sadie spoons her and she turns around to face her, "Sadie..."

"W-what my love? What's wrong?" Sadie groggily asks. Bella whines, being hung over.

"My head," she whines. The redhead sits up and rubs her eyes. She gets out of bed in nothing but boxers and a sports bra.

"I'll be right back," she tells Bella before leaving the room. She walks out of her room to go find some supplies for her girlfriend. She comes back into the room with a tray of snacks. She sets the tray down on her side of the bed and goes into the bathroom. She gets a cold washcloth and returns to their bed, "Cara mia."

She places the washcloth on her forehead. Bella snuggles into Sadie's body, the cold cloth coming in contact with her abdomen.

"Oh, God!" Sadie gasps at the temperature. She hisses and breathes heavily to make her body adjust so Bella can cuddle her, "I brought snacks."

Bella perks up, "What kind of snacks?"

Sadie giggles, "Crackers, fruit snacks, chips, and watermelon."

"Ooooo, watermelon," the brunette smiles. Sadie picks up the bowl and feeds a piece to Bella. She eats the entire bowl, quickly becoming full, and becoming drowsy again.

"Here, this will help," Sadie gives her some Advil and a bottle of water. Bella takes the medicine and lies back down. Sadie sets the tray down and lies down with Bella. The two fall back asleep within seconds.

For once, Bella wakes up first and leaves the room. It's 2 PM and Jenna is out on the patio, enjoying the sunlight.

"Good morning," she jokes.

"It's a little after morning, don't you think?" Bella asks.

"Well, I suppose it's a little late," she laughs. Bella sits down in a pool chair next to her, "Sadie's still asleep?"

"Yeah, but she got back late, didn't she? I don't remember her coming to bed," the brunette says.

"Yeah, she got back around 4," Jenna recalls.

"What time did you get up?"

"Oh, like thirty minutes ago," the two girls laugh, "So, do you remember anything from last night?"

"Not really. Only that I was upset about Sadie not wanting me to be able to defend myself," Bella sighs.

"Bella, it's not that," Jenna says, "She wants you to be able to defend yourself, but she's afraid. Afraid that giving you a gun will bring you closer to the business."

"Like being a part of it?"

"Yeah," she answers.

"Well, why didn't she just say that?"

"I don't know," Jenna admits, "Sadie's different around you, you know? She's nicer. She wants to please you."

"That's true," Bella agrees, "So what do I do? I don't think Sadie will want me to have a gun."

"Well, there are other ways to defend yourself," the former gang leader suggests, "Like self-defense classes. You could learn to fight. Or use a different weapon, like a knife."

"Knives are so bloody though, makes me wanna," the girl stops herself before she gags, "Okay, maybe Sadie was right about not being around guns. I can't do the blood and guts."

"Well, self-defense classes could be less bloody," Jenna suggests.

"Sadie suggested a personal bodyguard," Bella informs her, "Said I could pick anyone. But like, I don't know anyone outside of you guys."
