Lydia POV

"Jordan do not drill a hole in the wall if you can't do it," I say watching him standing on the ladder hanging up a painting that I bought for the one of the studio spaces.

"Chill, I've done this before." I hear him say holding the drill in his hand. I lean against the door of Studio space 1 and watch him drill a hole in the wall.

"All this damn dust!" I hear him say coughing and I laugh walking over to him. Jordan and I's friendship has been going good. It's been a month since we mended the fence and it's been actually very good. We hang out ever so often but with his busy basketball schedule and me trying to finish up the renovations for my new studio and choreographing for different artists, we do make an effort to see each other.

"Here." I say handing him the painting. He takes a hold of it before placing it on the wall. He steps down from the ladder and dusts his hands off. "It's crooked." I jokingly say watching his expression through the mirror.

"It's not!" He says stepping back and I laugh. "Oh you got jokes huh?" He says coming towards me, throwing me over his shoulder in a swift movement. "Put me down!" I laugh earning a chuckle from him. He finally puts me down before putting his arm over my shoulder.

"It looks good." He says looking around the studio space. "Right." I say. My dance studio has exactly 4 studio spaces which is nice!

"When is your Grand Opening day?" He asked looking down at me. "I was thinking next month or so. Everything is done. It's just adding the final touches and getting the word out that I have new dance studio." I say.

"I know a few people who can help with the social media aspect." He says removing his arms from my shoulder and taking his phone out. "No it's okay." I say and he gives me a look. I see him type on his phone before locking it and putting it back in his pocket.

"You'll be hearing from a girl name Jess. She works for a marketing company and she can help you with marketing and getting the word out." He says and I smile.

"Jordan you didn't have to." I say. "I wanted to. I'm helping a friend out." He says smiling and I roll my eyes.

"What are you doing this weekened?" He asked walking over to the ladder and drill. "I'm going to be in New York this weekend for Maya's birthday party. She rescheduled it because she had COVID and her grandmother was sick." I say watching his put the tools away.

"Aw I'm so sorry to hear." He says looking back at me. "Yeah she is doing a lot better now. Her grandma too!" I say and he nods. Should I ask him if he wants to come? That's what friends do right?

"Klay is going with Maya. You can come if you want." I hesistantly say watching him put the toolbox in the closet that was in the room. What if he says no? That would be so embarassing.

"I mean-"

"You don't have to come if you don't want." I say cutting him off and he smiles. "When are you leaving again?" He asked walking back over to me.

"Friday evening." I say fiddling with my fingers. Why does he still make me nervous?? "If you're busy and have plans, you can tell me no." I add and he chuckles.

"Let me know the flight details and I'll be there." He says and I smile.

"If it isn't my favorite people!" Olivia says approaching us in the club as we walked in. We as in Klay, Maya, Jordan, and I.

"We would not want to miss it." Klay says and he pulls her into a hug before handing her a gift. "Thanks Klay!" She says before looking over at her sister.
