Zayns POV-
I looked over at my boyfriend, Liam. He's so beautiful. I love this man more than I love anything, even myself! Words can't even describe how much I love him!
We've been dating since week 6 of X-factor! So, more than 2 years! I love him so much and want to spend the rest of my life with him. So tonight, I'm asking him. Right now we are in bed as its 6 am. He's still sleeping and soon, I'd have to make preparations for tonight. I snuck out of his arms and showered, got dressed, the whole deal. He still hasn't woken up. I grabbed an apple and left the flat.
I had Louis in on the plan so he's keeping Li distracted today. I headed down to the shop and bought roses, chocloate, and things to make food. By the time I got back, it was 8:30. Louis got Liam out of the house! I called Harry in and he helped me cook steaks, mashed potatoes, corn and chocolate cake. I grabbed the chairs, table, table cloth, candles, plates, silverware and everything else I needed to make this night perfect. Harry looked at me as of I was crazy for trying to carry it all. We managed to carry it all down to Harry's car and take it to lake and make it there by three.
I set out a cloth and out the small black table and chairs on it. I covered the table with a tablecloth and put the plates and silverware near them. I set up candles in the middle, had the cooler with the food in it. I had a picnic basket with a CD player in it to the side and I started to hang up and hang up white Christmas lights on all the trees, Harry helped me with this. And we plugged them into a portable battery. I checked out the lake and made sure our small row boat was still there. It was.
I went into a checklist in my head. I felt the ring box in my pocket. Check. I looked at the clock 5 o'clock.
"Harry, I'm going to get Liam, wait here, on our way to the table, turn on the lights and hide, when I take Liam to the lake, them clean up, yes thank you!"
I ran to his car and got in and drove off before he could stop me. I got to Louis, Harry and Nialls flat in half an hour. I pulled Liam out and he looked stunning. "You are so beautiful, Li" I whispered pressing my lips to his for a second. He blushed and I rushed us down the stairs. I started getting nervous as we got into the car. He started to talk about his, Nialls, and Louis day together. We ended up at the lake at 6:45, just as the sun was setting, everything was going to plan.
I pulled himout of the car and covered his eyes as I walked him over to the table and Harry turned the lights on and light the candles. I uncovered his eyes and he gasped. "Zi! This is beautiful!" He hugged me. I pulled back, "come on, lets eat." He nodded and I pulled his seat back for him. We ate in comfortable silence. When we picked the cake into the table and we each had a piece on our plate, I started talking. "Hey Li" he looked up. "Liam, I love you more than anything else in the world, form the moment I met you, I knew you were special, I knew that I had to make you mine. I knew we were meant to be together. Forever. Liam James Payne," I got down on one knee, "will you marry me?" Tears welled up in his eyes as he jumped onto me screaming "yes, yes, I do!" He kissed me as we laid on the cloth I spread out on the floor. We kissed for a minute not deepening it. When we pulled back I slid the ring onto his left hand. He pecked my lips before we got into our seats again and held hands over the table as we ate our cake. I stood up when we were both done and picked him up.
He giggled, a MANLY giggle, as I carried him to the boat. On the boat we talked about everything. Harry would be the best man. We should get married on the beach. Everything. We couldn't stay long as Harry would grow impatient. So we got out and the stuff was gone. Liam was confused and I pointed to Harry. He nodded and we mad our way to the car.
