Chapter 9: "Under new management"

(Japan. Musutafu. Abandoned building.)

3rd POV

Twice: "Work with the Hassaikai?" He asked it in some shock.

Shigaraki: "Yeah, don't make me keep saying it. Their plan has enough potential. Toga, Twice, and (Y/N). You three are yakuza from today on." He said it calmly, but that made you three not really happy about it.

Twice: "That's an unfunny joke. Sounding interesting, Shigaraki." He said it calmly.

Shigaraki: "They almost took out Kurogiri, too, but I held out and decided to give them (Y/N) instead. Anyway, that guy's got his own important job to do right now. You'll be moving through an underground route--" He wanted say, but stopped mid-sentence.

Twice: "What do you mean, 'potential'?! Can you be the leader if you just pretend to keep cool? Are you being influenced by that masked bastard? If (Y/N) wasn't there someone could get hurt, or even dead! He's the guy I brought carelessly to us...!" He said it as he took off his mask. "I'm human, too, you know, Shigaraki! Toga, (Y/N), you too! Say something!" He said it as his face was clearly showing guilt and worriedness.

Toga: "What are we to you, Tomura? To me, the League is a place that's comfortable. Mr. Stainy is what brought me to you." She said it as she stood up and started moving towards Shigaraki by spinning around her axis. "I want to make the world a place where I can do what I want and live easily. I'd like to do that if I can." She said it as she stopped in front of Shigaraki and placed a knife close to his neck. "Hey, Tomura, why do I have to do something that's hard that I don't want to do?" She asked it with the small smile.

Shigaraki: "Well..." He said it as he took off the hand from his face and looked at her and Twice, which shocked them. "It's for me, and for you guys. They probably want to restrict the League's mobility and win you useful guys over gently at the same time." He said it as Toga moved the knife away a little. "I want you to flatter them from up and close and conquer them. I never thought of them as equals. Twice, you said you wanted to take responsibility, right? This is one way to do it. I..." He said it as he trailed off a little. "...trust you guys." He said it calmly, finishing his sentence.

(Time skip. Some days later. Shie Hassaikai's underground meeting room.)

Your POV

Himiko: "I didn't have a choice. I was ordered to come here. I'm Toga." She said it calmly, almost emotionlessly, while took a look at some people here. (Quirk info: Name: Chronostasis. Description: Chronostasis grants the user arrow-shaped hair that can extend itself in a straight line and cut others, slowing down targets if hit.)
