Skylar found herself flying backward in the air, she had just taken a substantial blow to the chest and she winced in pain as she flipped around making sure her feet were pointed to the ground, landing on the grass that was below her.
She was in a forest, a large first with towering trees that almost seemed to stare down at her, her eyes darted around rapidly looking for her assailant.
She narrowed her gaze, her ear twitched as she heard a sound behind her, she leaped and spun around gritting her teeth, dodging a narrow blow from the crowbar that was aimed at her torso, her sword remained firmly in her right hand.
Anarchy let out a hum at the sight arching a brow, "You're getting faster despite the weight of that blade..." he commented.
I blinked looking at the greatsword in my hand, "...It feels natural to me. Like I've been doing this my whole life." That wasn't entirely wrong either, she found that most of her technique seemed to nearly mirror Anarchy's. It made things a lot easier for the both of them teaching-wise, the biggest thing she learned was that she was far better with heavy weapons, than she was with smaller ones.
Anarchy said nothing to that, "...To be honest I wasn't sure how well you'd handle a weapon like that." Anarchy exclaimed a smirk tugged on his face, "You're picking it up faster than I thought, though your magic is rather... strange."
Skylar tilted her head to the side, "How so?"
Anarchy cupped his chin, "...The body is like a machine. Magic is similar to a program, the body has the ability to cast one. Maybe two types of magic, but anything beyond that will usually cause the body to shut down." Anarchy explained lowering his hand, "But currently you've been able to hold three types of magic in your body, frankly the fact that your body hasn't exploded from the inside out is insane."
Skylar smirked, "Maybe I'm just special?"
Anarchy arched his brow, "Or maybe you're just lucky." he countered near instantly, "...Wind and fire magic only, that's the limit for this fight, got it? I'll keep myself restrained to my shadow magic in return."
Anarchy then raised his crowbar smirking as he pointed it forward, "I'll be going at you with all I have. It will be a simple duel."
Skylar frowned in response, "A duel..." she blinked tilting her head to the side, "Then how about we make this more interesting. If I win then you have to tell me more about your past!"
Anarchy chuckled, "Sure thing, but if I win..." he paused for a moment mulling over the idea that formed in his head, before smirking wickedly, "Then you'll have to suffer through my cooking tonight."
Skylar flinched, taking a fearful step back, she had already eaten Anarchy's cooking soon after she arrived.
It was awful.
Genuinely the worst thing she's ever had.
"Well now I really can't afford to lose." she gulped into a battle stance.
Anarchy smiled at the sight, "Oh? You intend to win then?" he lowered his crowbar, his eyes flashed a bright crimson as he spoke, "Cute."
Skylar's eyes widened as she felt something wrap around her leg. She blinked looking down, her gaze was one of horror as she saw the black shadow that was currently gripping tightly to her leg, "...Oh no."
A panicked scream escaped her mouth as she was suddenly thrust into the air and sent flying through several trees.
As shards of wood scattered into the air she flipped through the air, slamming her boots into the trunk's of one of the many trees before launching off it, flying forward and hitting the ground, bolting forward with speed she attempted to cut the distance between herself and Anarchy once more.
