You slowly shifted your hands back and forth, moving from your knuckles to your palm, staring at the gold rings and bracelets that decorated your arms. The chiton(1) you were wearing was fitted perfectly around your body. The cloth felt lighter than any other piece of fabric in Teyvat. Your breath was taken away by the view in front of you. Blue, yellow, orange, pink, and purple hues stole your attention, letting you know that you were above the clouds.

"Where-?" Your eyes expanded at the sight in front of you.

Celestia.

The floating island that can be seen in the sky above Teyvat. It was where the Gods reside. You wondered how you got here.

"Am I fucking dead?"

This dream felt so real you thought you had actually died. But based on what you've done in your life so far, you would have never thought that you have made it up here. Feeling something fluffy rub against your back, you turned your head to try and get a peek at what was behind you.

"I have wings?"

You weren't sure how to control them, but you knew that if you wanted to get back down to Teyvat, you'd need to learn soon.

"I look like I should have a statue.."

You've only seen Snezhnaya and Liyue's Statues of The Seven but you were smart enough to know that the other nations probably have them as well. The clothes you were wearing also looked remarkably similar to that of the statues.

"How am I supposed to get down there?"

"Beleth!" (2)

You ignored it, knowing that it definitely wasn't you the person was calling out to. Until you felt a firm hand touch your shoulder.

"I've lost count at the number of times you've snuck over here to watch the war. I told you on various occasions that no Celestial God shall take a peek at Teyvat until seven victors emerge victorious from this war!"

You stared at the hand on your shoulder then at the person who touched your arm, "Are you talking to me?"

"I've had it with your mischievous acts, Beleth! You want to watch the war so badly, fine!"

The person grabbed your wrist and dragged you to the edge of the clouds. Your chlamys(3) were draped around your shoulders as it flowed against the wind. Your heart skipped a beat, feeling yourself fall.

"Aw crap.."

You didn't know how to use those stupid wings of yours. Seeing yourself get closer and closer to the ground, you closed your eyes tightly and tensed yourself, ready to feel the harsh hit of the ground below you.

"And then, before I could hit the ground, I woke up."

Xiao's eyes dilated slightly before blinking a few times to compose himself. He cleared his throat, signifying that it felt somewhat unbearable for him to hear. It was a long time ago, yet hearing it again from you felt distant. It was like you were telling him a story that didn't happen, that it really was just a dream. But Xiao remembered everything, he was there when you fell, he was there to catch you before you hit the ground.

"What a weird dream, it felt so real!"

You were still ecstatic about the whole fantasy thing that it was all you could think about. How soft the clouds were, how unreal Celestia felt. It was like you wished it was true.

"So, now that that's over with, tell me what happened while I was asleep."

"Nothing."

"What?! Nothing?! It's always nothing! Something must have happened-"
