Lyra gave Klyne a pill before they continue their training
He looks at the pill and swallows it
"You didn't even ask me what's with that pill?"
"No need, I know you wont harm me, I trust you Master" he smile
She suddenly blushes and looks away
"It will help you strengthen your stamina" she whispered
"I'm sorry, I didn't quite get that Master"
"I said let's start the training, since I got you a pill, I will double the pounds of your cuffs" and she flicks her finger and settled herself under the tree
"Ugghhh, how can I even walk with these cuffs" he complained but continued his training
Their training with his cuffs continues for days. He is tasked to even wear the cuffs in everything he does. His body soon adjusted the weight he's been wearing for days. He can make runs. The pill helps him overcome his day to day training.
In the background, a man in a black coat and hood and covering his face with a black mask was observing them before disappearing.
Lyra stretches her body from her nap.
"I'm going to take a break" she declares
" You're just sleeping the whole time" he counters while getting ready to complete his 100 laps. He made 70 laps already and take a short break to drink.
"I'm still watching you even when my eyes are close." She said and wave before disappearing on his sight

"Emperor's dog, where do you think your going?"
Lyra appears where the man in a blackhood show up. She was leaning on the tree.
The man was suprised and tried to escape by using flash steps only to return infront of her again.
" Don't try to escape, you're under my territory"
A magic circle appears below them
She approach the man
"Why are you spying on us?"
The man draws a magic spell only to easily break by her fingertip
The man was shocked and steps back
"You're from the black tower, I might spare you if you confess"
The man get down to his knees
" I'm sorry, please spare me, the prince ask me to spy on the young master to see what's he up to. He learned that the young master is doing magic training"
She laughs, a very scary laugh
" So it's the prince" she taps his shoulder and get down to his eye level
" Tell the prince what you have witnessed, make sure to exaggerate what you gather" she tightly holds his shoulder " don't ever show your face infront of me again" she threatened
The man scarily nods
She stands up
"I wonder what kind of expression he will give"

"Master! I made it!" He greeted his master happily once she returns
" Finally" she flicks her finger and his cuffs were gone.
"It feels weird" He tries to run again but do a flash step instead. He was surprised by his own action " what just happened?"
"Your body feels lite now" she walks near him " Tomorrow, I'll break the seal and teach you Magic"
"Woww" he hugs her
She was caught by surprise
" Ehem"
"Sorry Master, I'm just so happy"
"You need to develop your physical fighting skills and swordmanship, I'll leave that to your trusted knight"
He nods
"Master... since I completed my basic training, will you answer my long waited question?"
"You mean where I came from? You're too curious about that?"
"Yes, you're not taking back your words are you?"
She smirks
"Of course not, I always fulfill my promises" she said " I'm from the fallen empire of the south"
"Fallen empire? The one that attacked by the monsters of the underworld?"
"Yes, I was too young that time and struggled to control my magic. When I saw my family killed by the monsters, I almost destroyed the empire"
"Sadly, though I killed those monster, I was accused by the imperial family for being acquainted by the underworld and tried to execute me"
"How can they think of you like that when you save them from the monsters"
"It's because of my black magic"
He was surprised. He is sure that her master's magic is pure white. He saw it.
" I was born with both black and pure white mana. I inherited that from my late great great grandmother, since I can't control both of them, due to the negative emotions I am feeling that time, my black magic gets stronger"
"On the day of my execution, the Great Black tower magician of the La Fuerte Empire came, that's your mother. She negotiated to rebuild the empire in exchange for me. The empire didn't think twice and agreed. However after so many years, the underworld attacks again only to realize that the late King stole the precious crystal of the underworld" she sarcastically laughed " They accused me of treason when it's their King's fault"
She shows him her black & white combination magic. He looks amazed.
"You're mother teaches me to controll this."
"Wowww, it's really black & white...."
" But Master, if you're from that era, that was in year X376 which is more than hundred of years ago, how old are you?"
She scratch her head
"I lost track when I reach 100"
His eyes widened
" You're that old"
"Humans with great mana live long"
His eyes looks amazed
"Your mom is older"
"I guess she was" he giggles
They both laugh and end their practice session
