Chapter 9

[Finna be fun]

Tord's POV:
I woke up to my loud alarm, i was hungover and my head hurt from the noise of the alarm, i quickly turned it off and sat up, i could barely process it was morning already, i took a while to finally get up and make myself some coffee, i needed some caffeine after that night, i tried collecting what happened yesterday but most of it was a blur, or completely gone, but i remembered something a little better, me and Jake kissed.

I was a little suprised at the thought that i kissed him, i suppose we got real drunk and our game escalated quickly.

I poured my coffee into my mug and picked the mug up, walking to my couch and drinking it while worrying about showing up to work and having to face Jake and whatever he may say.

Then i heard my phone buzz. I checked it and it was Jake, he sent me a message, "We need to talk when you arrive at work.", i was worried, will he tell me we can't have any relationship? Or maybe he will fire me because we can't have a relationship while being coworkers?

I calmed down and put my now empty mug down, and went to my room to dress up, i took out my usual shirt and and put it on, then i put on my usual pants.

After i was all ready, i picked up my keys and left for work, walking awkwardly and nervous while once again worrying a little, once i got there i went into my office to put my stuff down, i needed a moment to get ready for whatever Jake had to talk about.

Once i was ready i left my office and went to his and knocked, he opened the door and told me to come in while stepping aside, i walked inside and sat down, he sat down in his chair and looked at me with a quite serious face, i looked back at him nervously.

"About yesterday...", he started, i took a deep breath.

"I needed to ask if you meant it like i did.", i looked at him in confusion, "Obviously, why would i kiss a friend drunk if i didn't feel attracted to them?", he seemed relieved.

"That's good, you know, i also meant it.", it took me by surprise, then he continued, "And i was wondering um... If you wanted to go on a date?", he asked, "Just so we can get comfortable with each other-", "Sure", i replied. He smiled at me and nod real slightly, "Great, maybe we could go this friday, i could surprise you.", i smiled back and said "That sounds good.", then i stood up, "I have to keep working now.", "Alright.", he responded.

I left his office and freaked out a little, i was gonna go on a date with my boss, Jake, in 2 days!

I went into my office to squeak and strangle stuff from excitement, i wondered how it'll be.

Jake's POV:
I felt my heartbeat become faster and feel nervous already, i mean i did just ask Tord out on a date. I knew exactly where to take him though.

We spent the day hanging out as much as we could, and i'm pretty sure everyone who saw us suspected that we may have more than friendship going on.

Then the day came, it was friday, my alarm woke me up along with my cats next to me meowing, i got up, rubbed my eyes, and went to feed the cats and make myself some coffee.

I drank the coffee quite quickly and started getting ready, thinking about the date this afternoon, once i was done i pet my cats and left the house, locking the door and on my way to work.

I finally arrived, early again. I went into my office and got comfortable, and waited for Tord.

A while later he arrived too and he knocked on my door, i said come in as usual and he came in with a smile on his face, he greeted me and asked "Is there anything specific i could do today?", i smiled back and said "Not really, you can just hang around and do whatever.", he sat down, "Will you tell me where we will go now?", i chuckled and shook my head. "It is a surprise.", he got a little grumpy and looked away, he looked cute when he was grumpy.

After a whole day of him trying to get me to tell him my date plan, it was finally end of work and we left, i actually took him to a football game.

We went in and he seemed confused, i was confused as to why HE was confused, "What's wrong?", i asked him, "Why did we come here?", he replied, "I assumed you like football, i kept hearing quite strange noises from your office.", i told him.

Tords's POV:
I got embarrassed, he thought i was watching sports? And football, at that. I didn't know if i should tell him i was watching something completely different, or let him think that, but then i made up my mind.

"Um... I don't watch any sports.", he raised an eyebrow and asked, "Then what is it that gives so much noise in your office everyday?", i flushed and said, "It's... Animated adult films...", he looked quite concerned and surprised, "Oh.", was all he said, then he started slightly laughing, i looked at him confusedly.

"What's so funny?", i asked, he calmed down and replied "It's just that, you were watching adult movies this whole time, and i thought they were sports.", to think of it, him being this wrong was funny.

I laughed at that thought too, then we decided to leave and go somewhere we both like going, adventurous places.
