Sushi "date".

By the time 3rd period was over it was time for lunch. Sophomores through Seniors could go off campus for lunch. Freshmen stayed on campus to eat the nasty food they served.

Deciding to go home for the rest of the day Blake went to the door that led to the parking lot and looked at the clock above the door.
11:30.
Sighing in relief she walked out of the building to her car. Yang meant the world to her. Blake's car was her life, she wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world.
Mumbling a hello to her car she got in and was about to start the engine when someone got in her car.

The girl she was trying to avoid.
Her best dream and worst nightmare in one.

Megan McCrime.

The girl she's had a crush on since the 8th grade. The girl that Blake fell for hard.
The reason Blake went silent.

"Hey Blake, we haven't hung out in forever! Let's get some sushi, on me!" Megan sounded like she wanted to know something.

Blake nodded and started her car, music blaring from her phone into the cars speakers so loud that Megan jumped a little before turning it down a bit.

"Geez no wonder you never hear when we call you. You have the hearing of a 80 year old grandma!" Megan teased and laughed trying to get Blake to smile even the slightest.
Blake said nothing and drove it the nearest sushi place, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel to the beat of the song.

Its been so long since anyone heard Blake's voice. Even longer since they saw her smile. But only Stephanie and a few other close friends knew why Blake went silent.
She was hopelessly in love with Megan, who was in "love" with her cheater of a boyfriend, Josh.

Blake was normal looking, Filipino looking complexion, onyx black hair, tan skin, stunning amber, yellow orange eyes. That's what got her the most attention, her eyes. She usually just wore contacts to keep her eye color hidden, keeping them usually a dull brown.
Blake got her scar recently, she was fighting some guy and he pulled a knife, slashed her across the face and took off.
Lucky for Blake, the man didn't cut very deep, but he cut deep enough for the scar to settle in over her right eye.
She always gets strange stares from people because of it.

Megan on the other hand, was the opposite. She had dirty blonde hair, tan skin. Chocolate brown eyes, an amazing smile (in Blake's opinion) an adorable laugh.

Before Blake went silent, she used to beg Megan to sing to her, from a random song to a calming lullaby to help her fall back asleep when she had really bad nightmares.

Pulling up to the sushi place, Blake stole a glance at Megan and felt her heart flutter a little. Wearing a cream colored tangtop, white colored skinny jeans, and a pair of sandals with a few necklaces and bracelets.

Stepping out of the car and making her way to the door with Megan following close behind her, she stopped and opened the door for Megan, like a gentleman.
"Thanks Blake." Megan flashed her a smile and went to order their food. Blake came here often so the people working there already knew what she wanted.
Two California Rolls. It didn't sound like much but it was a lot.
Blake headed to the booth she always sat in, the one farthest from the doors in the corner.

Megan came back with the food a short while later, holding a tray of Spicy Tuna Rolls and Two California Rolls.
"You must come here a lot of they know your order." Megan laughed slightly and watched as Blake shrugged.
"Blake. Please look at me." Looking up Blake stared Megan in the eye slightly.

"Why don't you talk or smile anymore?" Blake sighed and just shrugged before eating. She heard Megan sigh and do the same.

They sat like that until they both finished their sushi and went back to Blake's car.

"I'm coming to your house and spending the night." Megan said gesturing to the duffle bag in the back seat of Blake's car.

Blake didn't mind. Megan slept over sometimes, there was always someone at her house hanging out or spending the night.

As Blake pulled into the driveway of her house she grabbed Megan's bag and exited the car.
"Blakkeeee." Said girl sighed and turned around to give a questioning look at Megan.
"Carry me!" Megan said, she was currently leaning in the hood of Blake's car with the most adorable pout Blake has ever seen.
Nodding she walked to Megan, turned around and kneeled in front of her while Megan jumped on her back.
"Yay!" Blake chuckled to herself and continued to walk to the front door.
Since she was holding Megan on her back, Blake grabbed her keys and held her house key between her index and thumb before handing it to Megan so she could unlock the door.
"Really?! I get to do it?" Blake nodded as Megan squealed and rushed to unlock the front door that led to Blake's house.
