The Wedding Part 2

Scarlett

I hugged my dad and then there was a knock on the door.

"It's time....Are you ready?" my dad asked

"No I'm really nervous now"

"Don't worry...you'll be fine"

The tune here comes the bride started playing. I linked arms with my dad and we walked down the aisle as everyone stood up but all my attention was on Ryder. He looks so fucking HOTT in a suit...how does he manage to look good in everything?

Ryder

I was speaking to my Dad and as soon as the music started playing I got nervous...this is it....I'm getting married to the love of my life...what if I say something stupid or mess up my vows...all this fear I had disappeared once I saw Scarlett walking down the aisle. She looked breathtaking I was speechless and I think I started to drool to. I quickly wiped it and Andrew gave me Scarlett's hand.

Take good care of my little girl" he whispered

"don't worry I will" I whispered back.

I lead her to the alter and we stood in front of each other out...I mean she is so beautiful and she manages to look gorgeous in everything she wears. I was interrupted from my thoughts when the priest started talking.

The Priest

Today there will be no dearly beloved, no betrothed, and no ancient rhyme of the married.

Today there are no dead languages to solemnize vows that are very much alive and will remain so for a lifetime.

Today promises become permanent and friends become family.

However, this day is not about the words spoken or the rings exchanged, nor is it about grand pronouncements and recessional marches.

This day - the day of Scarlett Rose Johnson and Ryder Daniels wedding - is about love.

One of my favorite authors once wrote, "If love is not all, then it is nothing: these principles, and its opposite, collide down all the years of my breathless tale."

Scarlett and Ryder, your breathless tale is about to begin.

If love is not all, then it is nothing.

Its opposite - If love is all, then it is everything - is going to be the basis for every aspect of your relationship.

All you have to do is simply love one another and that love shows through in everything you do for one another, how you treat each other, in good times and bad.

Love isn't just a word; it's an action.

Love isn't something you say, it's something you do.

Love is genuine, honest, and open, compassionate and kind, passionate and blind, love doesn't know space or time, nor look through jealous eyes and in the modified words of Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

And it is their words, their intentions, their vision, that must define and shape this marriage.

So I call upon them now to state their promise before this group: the pledges that will bind them together.

Ryder

"Scarlett, when I first met you I was a complete jerk. When we were invited to your house again I was acting like a dick. I lied and used you so much but you never left me. I knew from the first day I met you I felt some sort of connection...something about you made me want to know you better so I could protect you. For some reason I loved teasing you and making you angry because it was then I realised I liked you a lot. I liked the fact you were never scared of me like everyone else was and the fact that you turned me from the number one player to a mature family person. With you I feel like I can do anything except I can't promise I won't lie or I won't be perfect but there is one thing I'm certain of is that every day when I wake up I think about you and everyday when I fall asleep your on my mind. I love you so much Scarlett to the stars and back."

Scarlett

When Ryder had said his vows I burst into tears it was the most beautiful speech I have ever heard and it was for me.

"Ryder we both can agree that when we first met we hated each other so much. When I got told I had to marry you I was so angry because out of all the people in the world it had to be you. Whenever we were at school you would avoid me like a was a plague...but something changed and I'm glad it did because without this change I wouldn't have met my soul mate, my knight and shining amour, my prince charming. You have always been there for me and I will always be there for you. I love you Ryder. You were my enemy, my best friend, my fiancée and now my husband and I couldn't ask for anyone better then you."

The priest

We shall now exchange rings Ryder repeat after me:

I give this ring to you,

my beloved,

my friend,

my wife.

Whenever I see this ring,

I will remember the cherished bond we have created here tonight.

Scarlett, repeat after me:

I give this ring to you,

my beloved,

my friend,

my husband.

Whenever I see this ring,

I will remember the cherished bond we have created here tonight.

Please tell me this wedding is almost over I just want to kiss Scarlett.

Do you both take each other to be your soul mate?

"I do" we both said

I now produce you the newly wedded couple Mr. and Mrs. Ryder Daniels you may now kiss the bride.

I leaned in and grabbed her by waist. Her arms wrapped around my neck and I kissed for with so much passion. I lowered my hands just above her lower back and whispered in her ear

"Thank god I thought I was never going to be able to kiss you"

we both just laughed and pulled away heading towards the wedding reception
