Month 1, September: I and Mary decided to go on a platonic date to see "Waitress The Musical". As we walked to the theatre, I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I had never gone on a platonic date before, and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, as we settled into our seats and the lights dimmed, I felt myself relax. The musical was funny and heartwarming, and I found myself enjoying Mary's company more and more as we watched. We chatted during the intermission, and when the show ended, we left the theatre with huge smiles on our faces. As we walked back to our cars, I realised that I had had a great time with Mary and was grateful for the opportunity to see the show with her.
Month 2, October: I and Mary embarked on a platonic holiday to Greece, and we were both thrilled to explore the beautiful country. We spent our days lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun, and sipping on refreshing cocktails. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the island of Skopelos, where they filmed "Mamma Mia!". As we walked around the picturesque town and visited the iconic locations from the movie, we couldn't help but burst into song and dance. We laughed and joked about how we could have our own musical, and it made the experience even more memorable. I knew that our platonic relationship was special, and this trip only reinforced that bond. We returned home with a newfound appreciation for each other and a treasure trove of happy memories.
Month 3, November: Bonfire Night! We decided to celebrate the occasion together, just the two of us. We gathered firewood and built a small bonfire in the backyard. As the flames flickered and danced, we roasted marshmallows and reminisced about old times. We laughed and joked as we told stories back from our time in the Bake-Off 2013. As the night sky darkened, we watched the colourful fireworks display in awe, feeling grateful for the bond we shared. As the fire slowly burned down, we sat together and enjoyed the peacefulness of the night. We both knew that we would always be there for each other, no matter what life has in store for us. As we hugged each other goodbye, we knew that this simple celebration had strengthened our bond even more.
Month 4, December: I and Mary have been friends for months now, so we decided to celebrate Christmas together, platonically. We spent the day cooking a delicious meal, decorating the tree, and exchanging thoughtful gifts. As they sat down to eat, they shared stories about their favourite Christmas memories and laughed about the silly moments we had shared over the years. Later in the evening, we bundled up and went for a walk in the snow, enjoying the peacefulness of the night. Although we weren't romantically involved, I and Mary felt a deep connection and appreciation for each other's friendship. As we hugged goodbye at the end of the night, we both felt grateful for the love and support we had in our lives and looked forward to many more platonic celebrations to come.
Month 5, January: As the new year began, I and Mary wanted to do something special to symbolize our friendship. We decided to get tattoos, and I was excited to get my first one. Mary got a tattoo of a fruitcake, which signified me, while I opted for a berry pie, which signified Mary. The tattoo artist was friendly and made us both feel at ease as he worked his magic. The buzzing of the needle was a bit nerve-wracking, but I knew that the end result would be worth it. As we left the tattoo parlour, we admired our new body art and felt a sense of pride in the friendship that we had built over several months. The tattoos served as a reminder that no matter where life takes us, our bond will always be sweet, just like our tattoos.
Month 6, February: Valentine's day! I and Mary had a little get-together to celebrate our PLATONIC relationship. I had this amazing plan that I would take her to the theatre to watch the new Great British Bake-Off Musical at the Noel-Coward Theatre and give her a chocolate rose. When I went to give her the tickets, she gave me her present to me first. She gave us tickets to the Musical as well! we both decided on giving two tickets to some random woman on Facebook, and we enjoyed the show.
Month 7, March: I think I've realised that I've fallen in love with my best friend Mary. We've been inseparable for months now, but recently I've noticed that my feelings have shifted. I find myself thinking about her all the time and wanting to be around her more and more. I love the way she laughs, the way she sees the world, and the way she challenges me to be a better person. I'm not sure when these feelings started, but I know that I can't deny them any longer. I'm scared to tell her, though. What if she doesn't feel the same way? What if it ruins our friendship? But I can't keep these feelings bottled up forever. At some point, I need to tell her how I feel, no matter what the outcome may be.
Month 8: April: Time to start filming! I and Mary met 2 hours before we were meant to be on set to look at this year's contestants! I look at the list: Cerys, Stacey, John, Lucy, Steven, Ray Jacob, Katie, Becky, Henry, and Lacey. But there was another name. A name that surprised everyone. Four letters that will change Bake-off history forever. Prue.
