"LUIS?" RAE IDENTIFIED the man as she walked out of the elevator.
"Ah, hello again Rae!" Luis greeted, his grin growing bigger at the sight of the girl.
Leon glanced between them with a look of confusion, "You two know each other?"
"We've met before." Rae briefly stated.
"Quite the charming introduction." Luis added, his tone making it sound like they had more than the casual greeting.
Rae gave Luis a small smile before stopping in front of Leon, she turned around and hastily scanned him, making sure he was walking fine. Leon was wincing and holding his side, but he was glaring forward at Luis.
The girl didn't hesitate to grab his arm and bring him over to a random bench placed against the cave's wall. She pushed him down, gently enough to not hurt him but firm enough to make him understand what she was trying to say. However, it seemed as though he didn't catch the memo as he attempted to sit up as soon as she retracted her arm. Rae rolled her eyes, firmly ordering, "Sit."
Leon huffed before he looked up at her, "Why would I listen to you?"
"Stop being a brat." Rae rolled her eyes, "If you don't sit on your own, I'll just give you another hug."
Leon quickly understood what she was saying, "You have more sedatives?" He appeared more alert now.
"A girl never tells her secrets, Kennedy." Rae scolded, backing away from the man.
"Rae," Luis beckoned her over. Rae obeyed and made her way over to him, leaning closer as Luis spoke quietly to her, "you might want to give us some space. The suppressants will help calm the las plagas inside of him, but it won't look pretty at first. Don't want you to have a bad image of Prince Charming here." He finished the statement with a shit-eating grin, as if knowing Leon hated the nickname.
Rae gave Leon a glance at the usage of the nickname and found him glaring at the two. She let out a quiet laugh. Prince Charming her ass. King of Brooding fit him more. She turned to Luis, still feeling Leon looking at her. "Okay, I'll go talk to the Merchant." Rae said before she made her way past Luis and the strange bridge.
