Irene arrived home and just wanted to sleep. Hayabusa was back from his flight and was sitting on his post sleeping. She was barley relaxing on her couch when someone was banging on her door.

She groaned in annoyance as she got up and grabbed her sword placing it over her shoulder before going to answer the door.

"New hair?" She says not letting her glare falter even at the sight of Mal and the rest of her gang.

"I need your help." Says Mal making Irene close the door on their face. Or at least tried to but failed as Mal placed her foot in the way.

"And why would I help you?" Says Irene opening the door again knowing she isn't strong enough to close the door.

She thought around stabbing Mal's foot but there were still three more who could fight their way in.

"Because your dad owns half the Island." Says Mal and Irene's glare hardens.

"Then go talk to him." She says trying to close the door again but Mal pushes it open and walks into her house making Irene scoff in annoyance.

"Come in then." She says when they make themselves comfortable in her hideout.

"We don't know where he is, that's why we're here." Says Evie trying to be nice to make up for Mal's rudeness.

"Well that's probably because he doesn't own half of the Island anymore and he's in hiding, but you know that already don't you so why don't you tell me why you're really here." She says and Mal crosses her arms.

"Mal just tell her the truth." Says Carlos.

"You know everything there is to know about Uma, help us save King Ben." She says as if it's a demand and that just doesn't sit well with Irene.

"Why would I help you save someone I don't even know?" She says trying not to look at Jay who has been staring at her the whole time.

"Because it's the right thing to do, you always did the right thing no matter who the person was." Says Carlos stepping closer to her.

"And look where that got me. I was a push over, and now your living my life, or what it is supposed to be." She says looking at Mal with a glare on her face.

"What are you talking about?" Says Mal looking at her team only to see Jay looking down sadly since he knew exactly what Irene was talking about.

"I was chosen to go to Auradon prep, but your mother caught wind of it and told my father her plan to get off the Isle. She wanted you to go so you would get fairy godmothers wand and break the barrier.

So my father declined the kings offer for me since they knew I wouldn't go along with their plan and gave my spot to you." She says before stabbing her sword into her wood floor and leaning against the closed door with her arms crossed.

"You're lying, Ben would have told me that." Says Mal not really believing her own words.

"I don't care what you believe, and I can't help you. Uma was there for me when none of you were so I'm not going to turn my back on her. Not even if it's to save poor King Ben." She says then goes to walk away from them but Mal grabs her arm and forces Irene to face her.

"Don't touch me." Irene sneers before ripping her arm out of Mal's grasp.

"What are you going to do about it?" Says Mal getting in Irene's face. Irene looks up at Mal glaring at her.

"I don't think you want to find out." Says Irene clenching her fists.

"Oh I'm shaking in my boots." Mocks Mal.

"You should be, one word of this to Uma and Ben goes over board to be fish food." Says Irene.

"And without Uma and her pirates protecting you what are you? Just the same scared little girl from before." Says Mal her eyes glowing green as Irene's glowed gold.

"Alright that's enough." Says Jay as he steps in between them with Carlos.

"Mal we need her help." Says Evie making Mal roll her eyes since she knows Evie is right.

"Irene." Says Jay making Irene look up at him.

"Don't, I can't help you. So don't even try to convince me." She says still looking up at him.

"Please, you're the only one who can give us the upper hand in order to save Ben." He says while taking her hand in his and running his thumb over the pink and yellow bracelet that was wrapped around her left wrist.

"Jay." She says, she could feel her will to fight start to slip away. She was going to give in, but then she remembered the day he left her without even saying goodbye, and that made her snap out of it.

"You still think I'm that same scared little girl from before but you're wrong, I hope Uma throws your king over board. Then maybe you'll feel the same pain I did." She says before taking her wrist out of Jay's hand and walking out the door with her sword in hand. She wasn't worried that she left them at her place because Hayabusa would make sure they didn't take anything.

She didn't want to be apart of the showdown between Uma and Mal, but now she was looking forward to it. She was going to make sure the barrier was destroyed along with everything Mal and her gang loved.
