To Forgive

Chapter 4: The Showdown

When Irene arrived at the boat Uma calls her over. She sees the blond hair boy also known as King Ben tied up.

"Irene I'd like you to meet King Ben." She says but Irene just glared at him.

"Irene? You were the one who refused to come to Auradon." He says and Irene scoffs.

"You mean my father refused for me." She says and Ben looks at her confused.

"All this time I thought."

"It doesn't matter what you thought because I'm finally going to get off of this island." She says before walking away.

The wand was fake are you kidding me. Irene was livid as she fought Carlos, this was her chance and now it was ruined.

"Irene stop, I don't want to fight you." He says as he tried to dodge her instead of actually fighting her.

"That makes one of us." She says knocking his sword out of his hand and pointing hers at his neck.

"Irene." Someone calls behind her and when she turns she sees Jay. Then Carlos grabs her from behind taking the sword away from her.

"Let go of me!" She says as she struggles to get his off of her.

"Not until you calm down." Says Carlos as he keeps her in place.

"She said let go." Says Gil coming to help Irene. He managed to get Carlos off of her and Irene went to make a run for it when Jay blocked her path.

"Going somewhere?" He asks smirking.

"Nowhere that concerns you." She says before jumping to the level below them.

Just then Lonnie points her sword at Irene making Irene roll her eyes in annoyance. She just couldn't catch a break.

"I knew you looked familiar." She says and Irene frowns before her eyes widen in realization.

"My mother will be happy to know I defeated the daughter of her worst enemy, Shan Yu." She says before swinging her sword at Irene.

"Daughter of Mulan, I guess it's fitting we fight each other." She say blocking the fist blow. she manages to throw Lonnie off to the next level then went on to the next opponent. 

The fight went on for a while before Irene hears Harry call out for her and Uma. She wanted to help him but she was torn because they were going to get away if she did.

"Irene, Uma!" He called again and she rolled her eyes before going to lift him out of the water. He may be annoying but he was one of her best friends. 

"Thank you." He says with a smirk as he runs his hook through her hair. 

"Don't mention it." She says as she swats his hands away and then turning but then she sees Jay in front of her.

"Jay let's go." Calls Mal but he just holds his hand out to Irene.

"Come with me." He says but Irene then feels Harry grab her wrist. He wasn't about to let Jay and his friends hurt her again so there was no way he was letting her go with them.

"I can't." She says leaning onto Harry more as if to gather strength.

"Jay let's go we don't have time!" Yells Mal and Jay reluctantly leaves.

"No!" Yells Uma when Mal knocks the bridge over. Irene sees a rope and ties it onto a high post before tying it around Uma's waist.

"What are you doing?" She says but Irene just tightens the rope before kicking Uma off of the deck and into the tunnel where Mal had disappeared.

"Make sure you destroy that barrier!" Irene calls out and Uma just nods before disappearing.

Uma failed, and now Irene was even more bitter than before. Harry and Gil tried to cheer her up but it was no use, she wanted off the island but not just for her she wanted everyone off so they could live the life they wanted to. Why should the children have to suffer because of the parents choices, they were forced to be something they didn't want to be.

But Uma was gone and Harry and Gil were all she had left. So after trying and trying the two boys finally got her to talk to them and be somewhat like the old Irene they remember.

One thing was for sure she wasn't going to let the children of the isle suffer here much longer she was going to make sure they got the life they deserved if it was the last thing she did.
