the stars are beautiful tonight

and my deceit is a dulcet song

if i don't know my left and right

forget knowing right and wrong

the stars are beautiful tonight

and we're falling into the black hole

but everything is fine, hold on tight

i'm only puppetting the role

the stars are beautiful tonight

and you hum an innocent tune

wisdom has infected my sight

i am the dark side of the moon

the stars are beautiful tonight

and i let my plastic heart spill

for once i am a glimmer of light

i wish time would stand still

the stars are beautiful tonight

and your supernova lasts eternity

if i grieve the dust and make things right

would you go stargazing with me?
