The Leap of Faith

42 4 2

Should I leap?
Knowing there's chances I'll fall?
To the ground,
Crashing, smashing, Gashing
My head
On the hard concrete ground
Should I jump?
Knowing there may be nothing to catch me
Besides myself,
At the end of it all
I'll be left with the consequences of the fall
Should I Bound?
With chances of tumbling to the ground
Like Humpty Dumpty who broke his crown
Knowing I may be bound to the fate
Of the inevitable heartbreak
Should I Hope,
When I've fallen so many times
Inevitably to the ground
Breaking my heart
In shatters
Into pieces
Pieces of unrequited love
That spilt and tumbled over
On that hard
Lifeless
Useless
Cold Floor
With no direction
Should I try again?
Or should I just stay?
Or Maybe the leap of faith is too inevitable anyway.
