I am not allowed to get hurt
But it's okay to get abused

I am forbidden to express what I truly feel
Because if I do so
I'll be immediately labeled as "disrespectful"
I am a child
Abandoning me is alright
But I can't run away from my toxic parents
Because after all
I'm just their child
