David grabbed his phone and started searching information about hidden compartments in jewelry boxes. Only a few searches came up. He started scrolling through them and found nothing useful. He turned off his phone and grabbed the jewelry box. He snapped a photo of it, grabbed his car keys and jumped in his car. He didn't know where he was going. He tried starting his car but the engine didn't start. He tried multiple times but it didn't do anything. He felt like someone was trying to keep him in one place. He hopped out of his car and started walking. David was walking west, where the police station was. He was walking slowly at first but when he turned to look back at his house, someone in a dark coat was standing near his car, smoking. The mysterious person glanced at him, stared for a minute, and then started walking closer and closer to David. David realized he was being followed and started to run. He ran and ran and didn't look back. David ran for about five minutes and then stopped. He glanced back from his shoulder and saw the person wasn't there. He looked straight again and saw the mysterious person standing in front of him, smoking. He walked back slowly, then tripped and fell. The person slowly walked to him, their boots making loud stomps each step they took. David closed his eyes. He thought he was going to die. He had a huge knot in his stomach. After a while, he opened his eyes again. He saw the person wasn't trying to kill him, but to help him up.
"You gonna grab my hand or what?" The feminine voice said.

"Ahh! I am sorry. I thought you were trying to.. This might sound funny.. Kill me!" David said laughing.

"I never said I wouldn't. Just now isn't the right time." The girl said.

David grabbed the persons hand and noticed that he was much taller then the mysterious figure. David then realized this wasn't any adult. This was a child, a teen to be exact.

"My name is Maria. I am here to ask you a few questions."

"What questions?" David asked nervously.

"I would like to speak in private if you may. This isn't a matter to speak in public." Maria said seriously.

David looked at her and shouted, "I would like to hear it in public. Anything you tell me, the whole street should hear!"

Maria pulled a flip-knife from her shorts and whispered to David, " I said, in private."

Maria lead David back into his house, looking around the premises to see if anyone was looking. Nobody was watching so she then pushed him in the house and shut the door behind her.
