Class ExCo Meetings and random stuff

Violet, 22 February, 11:02 am:

At this point in time, I'm running out of time to write this everyday, and also running out of chapter name ideas, so excuse me if the entries are getting shorter and shorter or/and the chapter titles are getting more and more random.

We just finished History and we're having Geography now. History was really interesting since our teacher is really nice and makes everything less boring (P.S. my I&A teacher does the complete opposite). But we had to do this group discussion part where we had to work in fours and complete a worksheet together. I was the person doing the questions, but Jingrong just had to go, "Oh this is the wrong answer! It should be this instead! OMG, what is wrong with your brain Violet?" Then when the teacher went through the worksheet with us, our group got all the questions wrong as my initial answers were all correct, but since Jingrong just had to change them, we were the only group who got everything wrong. Great job Jingrong!

Now it's Geography. It shouldn't be boring, since it is one of the harder humanities subjects, but it really is, as the teacher is somewhat like my I&A teacher but she isn't as boring as him. But still, it makes me want to just yawn and zone out for their rest of the hour. Of course I can't, which is really annoying me right now, and with Jingrong doing really weird stuff on her PLD, it's really not easy for me to pay full attention to the teacher.

Also, since I forgot to write in this yesterday, I just want to say that I had CCA yesterday and it was really fun. This time, most of the Y1s were here since our coding class ended so yesterday was our official Y1 welcome party. We got to play games, drink and eat snacks and we also did a joke motion debate. That's basically like the motion for the debate is like a joke, really ridiculous and all, but you still have to debate it seriously like a real debate. It's really funny and rather easy when compared to a real debate. I was one of the top 5 best Y1 speakers so I got an extra snack (Angela didn't, so maybe she isn't better at debating than me after all).

After school we had this Class ExCo thing (basically the top 6 in command in the class, chairperson, two vice-chairpersons, one for welfare and one for environment, two secretaries and one Contact Time representative). It was really boring, we just talked about some class goals and vision and mostly your cliché leadership stuff I guess.

I'm having my debate online class right now (the one with Angela) and it's 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm every Wednesday, and I haven't even started on my homework, and boy do I have a lot of them. I wrote a 3000 word debate speech and right now my hands are dying from typing (yes, it's that torturous). But I guess it should be helpful as tomorrow I have my Debate CCA.
