My name is Khristina. But I have so many nicknames. You can call me Kristine, Christine, Christina, or Christa. My Mom got a job in Florida, its hot, and I don't think there will be winter. "Everything will be fine Kristine, you'll make friends, be in clubs, and be able to click with people. 7th Grade is tempting, but I know you can do it." I looked at the car window, "What will Florida be like?" I thought. We stopped at our Coastal contemporary house, It was big and beautiful. "Wow, our house is big Mom." I went inside, the moving truck has just arrived. And I found my perfect bedroom. "I call dibs on this bedroom Mom!" I yelled. My new bedroom was white and gold. My old house, in the suburbs, was kinda of not bad. I think Florida will be fine.

Today I start my first day of school. I wanted to stay at home. No homework, classes, or drama. "Wake up Kristine! School is coming at this passing hour!" I got out my bed. I hate going to school, and Mom does bot understand. "Can I miss just one day of school? I don't want to leave home." I winned. Mom came to my room, "Honey, the first day of school won't be that bad." I sat on my bed and thought, "She doesn't know how school works, she finished school so long ago." I sighed. "Fine." I picked out a red top that says, "Florida" in bubble letters in yellow. I picked out my baggy jeans. I wore my clothes and came downstairs. "Downstairs is beautiful." I said while sighing. Mom smiled, "Nice place, huh?"I she was cooking hash browns and eggs with lots of cheese. In my old town, Mom owned a restaurant, but when Dad was sick, we had to permanently shut down. We made a lot of money and we were very successful. "Mom, I miss Dad a lot." She nodded, "Your father was amazing. I'm sorry he couldn't live longer." I nodded. I'm normally used if anyone passed away, but Dad was special. He always took me to Ice Cream on Saturday, and we watch live football games. Dad had Alzheimer's disease, he died cause of it. Once Dad had Alzheimer's disease, he forgot me. It took him awhile to remember a few things, but he forgot when we do Ice Cream on Saturday, an live football games. "Hurry up, Kristine!" I ate fast, not that fast.

I miss Dad.
