I left the hut and made my way down to the crowd of people, and I noticed a big bonfire in the center. I looked around to see if Ao'nung was there yet, but he wasn't. I spotted Kiri hanging out with Rotxo, and Lo'ak with Tsireya. Tsireya had noticed me and began making her way towards me. "Hey, what took you so long?" she asked.
"I forgot something back at my hut," I responded.
"Oh alright, would you like a drink?" she offered while gesturing towards a rock that had cups of drinks laid out.
Thats when I noticed the group of Ao'nungs friends, who I had beat up, standing there and chatting. "Uhm... maybe later,"I responded, not wanting to cause possible trouble.
"Okay well I'm going to go hang out with Lo'ak if you're fine by yourself," she announced.
"Yeah, sure that's fine, have fun with your little boyfriend." I teased.
"Oh hush," she responded with a giggle.
She walked away and I began looking around until I spotted Neteyam who was watching over Tuk. "Hey Ney, hey Tuk," I said while walking up to them.
"Hey Wi," Neteyam responded while Tuk came up to me and hugged my leg.
"So, what do you plan on doing tonight?" he asked.
"I don't know to be honest. I was planning on hanging out with Ao'nung but he isn't here yet."
"He likes taking his time I guess," Neteyam responded.
"I guess." I talked with Neteyam for a while until it was time for all of the activities to start.
"Hey sorry I'm late," I heard a voice come from behind me. I turned around quickly to see that it was Ao'nung.
"I thought you ditched me, what took you so long?" I asked.
"Yeah, sorry about that, and I had to do a few extra things," he said while looking down at me. He stared at me for a moment before cutting the silence. "You look stunning Tsalwi."
I felt my cheeks heat up at the comment and turned my head away quickly. "Oh, thank you. You don't look too bad yourself." I joked.
"Come, dance with me," he said and gently grabbed my hand.
"I'm not much of a dancer."
"I'm not either, but we'll figure it out." he said as he dragged me to where all of the other Navi were dancing. I copied what the other females were doing while Ao'nung danced around me, like the males were supposed to. We held eye contact the entire time, and of course dad noticed because I saw him stare a few times at the both of us. We danced for a little longer until Neteyam came over to speak to us. He talked to us for a few minutes, but I got bored and decided to get a drink. I made sure to look at the area before heading over to it, so I could avoid being around Ao'nungs friends. I got to the rock that held the drinks and examined the drinks before choosing one.
The festival was getting quite boring, so I decided to tell Kiri that I was sneaking off into the nearby forest just in case someone was looking for me. As I was walking through the trees, I adored the beautifully lit up plants. It reminded me of home a lot and it brought a smile upon my face. I saw a very beautiful flower type plant and bent down to get a closer look. It was a darker shade of purple with 3 petals and small lit up dots along the sides of each petal. As I was examining the plant, I heard faint laughing coming from behind.
