You were standing in front of the big ass door that Childe told you to go to. The sign "Liyue section" was written in bold letters and made in what you assume was gold since it was yellow and shiny.

Hesitation and uncertainty ran over you like a 10 ton truck, should you go in or not? Are they already a mile away close to you? Should you run?

Honestly you were quite nervous to be meeting them, even though you probably passed by them a ton of times and you didn't remember.

Then you heard rapid footsteps as Beidou's warnings: If you hear rapid footsteps make sure to run the opposite direction repeated in your head. But you're slow as a turtle to react so you let the unexpected hug impacted your back as slim arms tugged you tight.

"Hu tao you're scaring them," this time you heard a masculine voice. The girl who he called Hu tao let go of you rather quickly. "We didn't introduced our selves yet so let loose for a second."

You turn back and see a tall ginger haired man and a girl near shoulder length to his height with dark brown hair in long pigtails.

They were wearing casual yet cozy clothing. Probably because their class was over, yet you're still in uniform with a cardigan covered in dust and assumed ash because of cleaning earlier.

"Sorry if I got ash on your hands, Hu tao." you giggled nervously when you noticed gray dust on the her palms.

Hu tao smiled as if she gets ashed on for a living. "It's alright! I get ash on my hands all the time."

You deadpanned. She does gets ashed on.

"She works part-time in a funeral parlor," The ginger man commented on your silence and let out his hand. "I'm Childe by the way, sorry for the fright earlier."

Well that makes total sense, you thought. You smiled and shook his hand.

"Now let's find Zhongli before he goes in debt." They both agree and head out to the faculty.

You and Hu tao were becoming bestfriends already, she's telling you stories of her job and about this Zhongli person and you tell her stories about the Mondstadt section.

Childe was in the faculty trying to find the guy, and since one student was only allowed in the faculty at the moment you both waited near the door.

"I only heard of Zhongli one time from my friend, Venti. They argued about who should pay for their drink in the cafe they were at. Then the waiter got so mad that they kicked the two out."

"Heard you were talking about me?"
An unexpected and hella deep voice interrupted your storytime.

Both of you quickly turned to that voice, you nearly cracking your neck in the process.

"Oh, I apologize. Were you waiting for me?" The dude held his palm on his chest, you can swear he bowed very slightly.

Hu tao beamed, "Yeah we were! You were so late that I told F/n about your stories!"

"F/n?" He quickly took noticed of you and smiled. "Nice to meet you, I'm Zhongli. From the Liyue Dormitory."

Childe comes back from the faculty with stack of papers on his hands. "Hey, now that we're all here, would you help a guy out?"

"With?" Zhongli asked before you could. The papers he was holding was filled with designs and was rather colorful but pleasing. The texts had a fancy font in it but the words were too far to make out from your distance.

Childe pulled out a paper from the stack and held it in your guy's view,
"I need to pass out these flyers for this school year's prom!"

"...Prom?"
