Amanda's POV.

''Ugh Louis! I want to hold Austin!'' whined Eleanor.

It's been two days since Austin was born and everyone loved him, especially Louis and Niall. Louis would hold him whenever Niall wouldn't and that was almost never, meaning Eleanor and I haven't had a chance to  hold him properly. I was still in the hospital because the baby was born with low blood sugar and the doctor needed to run some test to see if he was a diabetic or if he was hypoglycemic. The test results came today and to tell you the truth I am a little scared he mightbe a diabetic, the doctor asked me and Niall if anyone in our family had diabetes, Niall said no, but I said yes because I have an aunt with type 1 diabetes and since my aunt is a diabetic the baby could be too because of genetic reasons.

''No, I have him now, you have to wait Eleanor!'' he said, holding Austin closer to his body.

Niall, who was sitting on the chair next to my bed chuckled, shaking his head.

''Amanda, can you pleaseee tell him to give me Austin.'' said Eleanor, turning to me.

''Niall.'' I said, looking at Niall.

''Louis, let poor Eleanor hold the baby.'' 

''Ugh but I just got him!'' he whined like a little boy.

''Louis, you have had the baby since I fed him two hours ago, you even burped him.'' I said laughing.

''Fine!'' he said defeated.

Eleanor smiled and clapped her hands walking over to where Louis was and carefully taking the baby from his arms and into hers. She sat down next to Louis on the couch and looked down at baby Austin, smiling like an idiot.

''Ooh he is holding my finger!'' she exclaimed as Austin held her finger in his frail little arms.

''Yeah Eleanor, if you didn't know babies do that!'' said Louis.

''Shut up!'' she said.

Of course they were just joking and the fake glares they gave each other made it super funny.

''Ok, where is the baby? we need to take him to run some tests'' asked the same nurse that helped Dr.Jhonson deliver Austin.

''What?! no, I just got him!'' exclaimed Eleanor as the nurse took the baby.

''Ha, that's what you get!'' said Louis.

''Shut up Louis, you are getting on my nerves!'' she said slumping down in her chair.

Louis smiled at her and cuddled with her.

''Hahaha I will bring the baby right back, just one last test.'' said Jacqueline, the nurse.
