Chapter Eight

Rina's POV

I just woke up it took me a minute to be aware of my surroundings. I did my mornings routine and permanently borrowed James hoodie, hehehehe 😁 even though I sent for a pair of clothes to be delivered yesterday for Pietro and I and the remaining of Pietro's clothes should be sent to the house because he will be staying with me for a week after hours of convincing Grace so she can rest fully without any work.

I wore my jeans and shirt with my new hoodie, you can't blame me boys clothes are so comfy even though the hoodie is reaching my knees I love it. I woke Pietro up, bathed him and dressed him after that we went downstairs for breakfast.

I helped Mrs Evan In the kitchen while Pietro was playing games on my tablet, when we were done I had to call James for breakfast and let's just say it wasn't easy to climb the stairs all the way from downstairs to the rooms upstairs don't get me wrong I'm not out of shape it's just there are times one can be lazy.

Anyways when I finally got to his room I knocked and he didn't answer so I came in and he actually finished bathing and was dressed but his hair was still but he was sleeping, unbelievably I did the only reasonable thing I started jumping on his bed until he fell, after he fell I fell on the bed and started laughing while he groaned in pain.

After he regained himself he started tickling me until I apologise, we left the room and as soon as we step out I jump on his back he stumbled a little but quickly regained himself glaring at me while I stuck out my tongue.

He ended up carrying me down the stairs when we reached the kitchen his mother laughed at our childish behavior, I jump off his back and went to feed Pietro after we all were through, the maids came to carry the dishes.

We left the house and dropped Pietro of at school while we went to our school.
Is that my hoodie;he asked, nope; I said and he playfully glared at me, I then added it's mine now with a smirk. He just chuckled and said it looks cute on me so I can keep it, either way I could have kept it.

On our way to the school I switched on my phone and I was met with 120 missed calls and 426 message from my family. I knew I was in deep trouble I groaned in annoyance and answered some of the message before dropping my phone.

We finally arrived at school and went to relax in our homeroom ten minutes before classes started Ryan and Giovanni appeared out of nowhere searching everywhere until their eyes landed on me.

Ryan hugged the life out of me while Giovanni was scolding me, telling me how to stupid I was to do that and told me I was in trouble as if I didn't already know that, he kept his emotionless facade but you could see relief in his eyes. After all the scolding he hugged me I was shocked but I hugged him back, don't ever do that again, I can't bare to loose you again; he whispered the last sentence but I still heard it and it brought a smile to my face.

He also told me I'll be sitting at their table and so would Ryan from now on. They went to their classes and we continued ours. The last period before lunch was biology and the teacher is so boring I actually fell asleep on James shoulder in her class, it was the best sleep I had in school in years not like I ever slept in class.

We went to the cafeteria and everyone brought out their packed lunch it was Tuesday and school only served food on Mondays and Fridays weird I know. We went to the table and there three boys and one girl other than me, my brothers and James.

I sat with James and Ryan sat with Gio there a seat in between me and my twin, I went back to sleep, I love sleep, plus I can eat later I still have one hour for lunch, I had almost successful fallen asleep until someone started shaking me I glared at the person it was none other than James after he forced me to drink my juice threatening me that if I didn't he would feed me right in front of everyone not wanting the embarrassment I quickly drank it and went back to sleep, they told me they would wake me up in five minutes to eat.

I just closed my eyes I felt someone taking the last seat, I didn't really care to even look at the person until I heard his voice, James introduced him as his friend and everybody's breath hitched accept for James, everyone introduced their selves except me of course because I was sleeping, he introduced himself as William, I already knew his voice how could I ever forget my annoying bestie.

Someone was poking me to wake up from my left and I knew it was Williams i smacked his hand and everyone tensed, I then started poking him, don't *poke* you *poke* know it's * poke* not good to wake someone like that *poke*, he started rubbing his shoulder and I noticed everyone except for James who was looking amused was tensed, I then realized I just poked the second in command to the second greatest mafia.

I turned back to him as he was glaring at me while I stuck my tongue out, he chuckled saying childish while ruffling my hair and bringing me into a side hug. They looked at us confused just then I remembered I should be mad at him he just disappear for months, I then proceeded to glare at him with my arms crossed. He turned and apologize for going MIA I forgave after he promised me shawarma 🤤 and a lot ice cream.

Everyone was waiting for an explanation, I told them we are friends, besties, practically siblings and we have known each other for eleven years. They all still had their jaws dropped, I finished my lunch that Mrs Evan packed for me it was a lot I couldn't stand up for about ten minutes.

After lunch we went to our various classes, James told me his father would be coming home, every newly crowned don has to spend six months without the ex don so that they will not be dependent on the ex don, the reason why he is telling me is because our families are having a dinner to celebrate it tonight.

After school ended I told my brothers that I'll meet them at home after a lot of convincing they agreed. I went in my car to pick Pietro he was sleeping so he was in the back seat. We finally arrived home and I got the scolding of a lifetime the grounded me. I then told them about Pietro and strangely they agreed.

They told me about the dinner even though I already knew. Anyway I went to pick what I would wear I choose a blue off shoulder shirt and black jeans, with a black jacket. I could easily hide weapons in just in case.
