Chapter twenty

Fiona's POV

We woke up and went downstairs for breakfast Mr and Mrs Evans informed us that Mr Evans father and the twin grandpa is coming tommorow. Eva looked happy but the rest didn't, hmm  I wonder why. Soon Eva stopped smiling and looked at me and said what about Fiona, I gave her a confused look what about me, I said.

Grandpa is very strict I don't think he'll be happy seeing a girl living with us; she said. I could always just stay somewhere else for a while; I suggested, No; Mr, Mrs Evans and James said at the same.

I don't think you should leave our sight from all the recent happens; James said and I shrugged. We could say she's Eva's friend and she's visiting; Mr Evans suggested, no that won't work Dad, grandpa will think it's suspicious that I just came back and my friend came to visit all of a sudden; Eva said.

I have an Idea Eva said with a mischievous smile. What if she pretends to be James girlfriend; she said and I'm pretty sure I stopped breathing. Yes that's a great Idea then he won't suspect her visiting we just need to move some of her clothes to his room; Mrs Evans said and I stared at her in disbelief.

Then it's settled that's what we are going to do; Mr Evans said. James shrugged and said okay. Of course he acts like it's not a big deal arghh.

After breakfast I went to have a little talk with Eva. What were you thinking why would you suggest that ; I said. To get you and James closer she said in a duh tone and how are we supposed to pretend to be dating I don't even know how to do that; I said.

That's easy just act the way you usually do but sometimes when you want to call him say babe. You know you guys actually act like a couple without realizing it; she said.

Oh was all I could say. I packed up my clothes and arranged them in his closet thankful he already created space for my things.

I didn't see James for the rest of the day. He came back in the night looking very tired. He came and sat down on the bed close to me. Do you wanna watch a movie; he asked the question was so random you would think he would want to sleep by how tired he looks. I wanted to say no and tell him to sleep but he looked at me with pleading eyes and I couldn't say no.

So I agreed, he changed into his pyjamas and he picked a movie on his laptop and open his arms for me to come, I settled in between his arms and we watched the movie. I honestly thought he would have slept have way through the movie but he didn't.

After the movie I forced him to go to bed. I saw he eyes closed and assumed he was sleeping I came lay on the bed soon I realized he wasn't when he pulled me to his chest. He told me goodnight and kissed my forehead I told him good night too.

James POV

When my sister suggest that Fiona and I pretended to date I was shocked. But when everyone agreed it caught me off guard I wish I could date her for real but I don't know if she feels the same way I do.

After preparing everything for my grandpa's arrival I was tired asf but also nervous I just hope he doesn't do anything to Fiona, for some reasons he honestly acts like he hates me, he always puts me through shit.

Getting back to our room I saw her on her phone, I asked her if she was up for a movie she wanted to say no but later said yes. I honestly just wanted her in my arms the movie was just an excuse.

We later ended up sleeping well Fiona forcing me to sleep. It's nice how she's the only person apart from my parents that can boss me around. We soon fell asleep.

The Evans (except James) POV

They all knew that both Fiona and James love each other and are both oblivious to that fact. They also used this excuse to bring them closer and make them realize that they love each other.

Time skip

Fiona's POV

I woke to see that James was no longer here so I went to take a shower and freshen up. After changing into a fresh pair of clothes I went downstairs to see the Evans and an unfamiliar man who I'm assuming is James and Eva's grand father.

I greeted everyone and they greeted me back. And who is this lovely girl; the man asked if you didn't listen closely you wouldn't have heard the scarasm. Looks like James noticed it too. Oh that's Fiona James girlfriend and my new bestie; Eva said.

Oh so she lives here; he asked with a slight disgust laced in his voice, once again no one noticed except for James. No she's just staying for a visit grandpa; Eva said with a smile.

Nice to meet to meet you; he said, the pleasure is mine; I said, likewise; he said. When we were all eating I felt his gaze and I look up I saw him looking at me like I was the dirt on his feet.

James go get ready we have to go on our special grandpa-grandson training. James body shivered and he flinch slightly. It went unnoticed by everyone but me and I had to wonder how bad it could be that it made James flinch.

Everyone left and it was only me and the grandpa. He turned to me with a smirk, name your price; he said huh;I said confused. Names your price the only reason you could be with that sorry excuse of a grandson is obviously for his money; he said.

Trust me money would be the last reason why I would be with him; I told him. Oh so you actually love him; he said and then laughed. Are you sure you can love him after finding out his secrets and let's see if your love is strong enough to withstand it;he said.

He's a dangerous guy do you know who he is, he is the head of the British Spanish mafia, he can kill you if he wants, do you really think he actually loves you, you are nothing but a simple you he plays with when he's bored. He can't love you do you know why because I broke him to the point that he can't be able to love; he said.

Do you Still want to stay with him after knowing all this; he asked. I already knew he was in the mafia and that thing you said about him not being able to love is a whole load of bullshit; I said in a bored tone he genuinely looked shocked. Shocked that I knew about the mafia stuff and shocked that I still stayed and most especially shocked that someone talked back to him.

Soon James came down he eyes quickly darted to me and his grandpa . Say goodbye to your girlfriend and let's go; the old man said. He hugged me a bit too tight and whispered are you okay and I nodded. He then left with his grandpa and soon the day ended. When James came back it was late but once I say him my face darken and I made up my mind that the old man will pay.
