Prime Minister Wilhelm regularly visited the Royal Library for a month to 'coincidentally' bump into Adeline.
It's a shame that poor Adeline wasn't aware how much of an important cog she is, she's a small important cog for his plan.
So Wilhelm took his time in his approach to Adeline using the knowledge he currently had about her and using memories of his past.
He took his time getting to know her as she was with him.
With Shiro by his side it would never be seen as an affair and from time to time other children of higher nobility or when the occasion arises Wilhelm includes children of the lower elite to discuss a common topic.
Author Red.
A small book club was slowly formed for the nobility with Wilhelm in the middle to discuss the latest novels or go into further detail about certain theories of the stories that were left on a vague cliffhanger.
During this time Adeline has made a lot more friends, became more confident and become more chatty about books. However, she still becomes nervous when Author Red's books was discussed.
Adeline certainly needs to work on her ability to lie.
However each time Wilhelm expressed his sympathy and concerns about the abuse that was often described in the books, he could always see Adeline smiling softly to herself and even happier when others expressed the same emotion.
She became much more comfortable with Wilhelm to the point she would happily walk over to Wilhelm to discuss the latest novels.
It would always make Wilhelm feel rather bitter seeing her happy smile, she was so ignorant about how Wilhelm planned to use her but at the same time, he was happy with how much better she seems now compared to before.
However, this small book club of his didn't go unrecognised.
Firstly it was a rather unusual sight for someone from the Hendrix to come to the royal library and a book club as well.
Certainly raised discussions amongst the other nobles.
"Perhaps he made a book club to secretly scout talents amongst the young ones?"
"Or maybe he's trying to gather information about the other nobles?"
They weren't entirely wrong.
Originally he made it so he could get closer to Adeline and get more information about his cheating wife.
However, amongst the young nobles, he managed to spot a few talented individuals that he can hire as useful aides or provide financial aid for more passive income into potential businesses.
Wilhelm is killing 3 birds with one stone without intending to.
When some of the higher nobles noticed this they also began doing the same.
Several nobles formed a book club to do the same.
Before Wilhelm knew it, it became a trend to find inspiring younglings for the older nobles to make passive income.
Later on, it is now a thing for students to join book clubs to find investors that would greatly benefit them.
It was rather annoying for Wilhelm since he now has to keep this up but at least this way he can make contact with Adeline without stirring up any suspicions for Jen.
Until he finally got what he wanted.
"Prime Minister Wilhelm good day to you." Adeline approached before dipping down to a small bow for formality with a somewhat sullen face.
