Neurodivergent Learningblocks headcanons!!! (Pt 1)

For a long time I was kinda scared to put my ND headcanons for learningblocks out there (even though I myself am autistic), but now that the lbc is much more generally queer and neurodivergent, I figured i'd be brave lol,,, so here they are!

One:

*They are autistic! Just like me frfr,,,

*when his sensory issues act up they either have sensory overload or no sensory at all and it sucks-

*gave it some of my stims too!!! Like, I used to have a banged up squishy in august-October before I changed schools, and I always squished it and punched it and threw it and stuff and I recently realized that was stimming lol. So One has one of those too! It has seen better days 💀

*gifted kid burnout. School is boring and dangerous and legit falling apart at the seams and teachers don't care about them :( (just like my public school experience frfr💀✋ dw I'm in a charter school now and it's pretty cool B3)

*their brain is either scattered all over and animalistic or superbly cohesive and analytical. There's rarely an in between-

*has a LOT of emotions. Just doesn't express them in "correct" or normal ways.

*vocal stims!!! Mainly animalistic yipping and chirping, as well as more specific animal sounds sometimes. Frighteningly good at mimicking animal sounds-

*fun fact; projecting onto One helped me realize I was autistic. Like I'm not even fucking joking Learningblocks helped me realize I was Neurodivergent (and even played a part in helping me realize I was transmasc nonbinary like what 😭)

Two:

*also autistic!

*also has a lot of emotions they don't express conventionally. The main  difference tho is that she's much more passive than One of this front-

*one of the main stims for them is bouncing their leg. They can barely control it either too,,, also disassembling and reconstructing pens?

*on the note of playing around with pens, she has reverse engineered the technologies of almost all the types of pens at their school (because the teachers fail to adequately stimulate him- :( )

*either knows nothing at all or absolutely everything-

*not a lot to say about him other than she is autism. The beloved <3

Eighteen:

*i hc him to have ADHD! and it's actually very implied/coded in canon! This is much more a list of adhd traits I see in him in the actual show than headcanons lol.

*first off, of course, he is very hyperactive! He has a lot of energy and needs to be using it near constantly or else he becomes restless and agitated (the scarecrow episode). Also possibly under stimulation as well, which is why he always has to go faster and faster, but that's just a thought lol.

*speaking of the scarecrow episode and becoming agitated and restless, he is also very impatient! Like he just wants everything to go quick and becomes irritated when things take a long time to finish (ten adding).

*this lack of patience and desire for speed actually leads him to create the multiplication and division signs! Multiplication is just faster addition, so him wanting a faster way to add in the scarecrow episode (using this episode as reference a lot-) makes sense from both a math and character :D . (Side note, I love that the show didn't make him dumb, just like people with adhd aren't dumb! If a kid thinks they're dumb just cuz they don't get good grades, watching eighteen create new innovate stuff could actually be really helpful. NUMBERBLOCKS HAS BETTER ADHD REP THAN ALOT OF OTHER MEDIAS IVE SEEN WHAT 😭/lh)

* another thing that stands out to me is how often he changes Factors of his voice, like, he does a lot of voices. For example in his song. He sings one Line squeaky and condensed, but the next one loud and bold. Idk if this is an adhd thing or not, but I (autistic) often stim with my voice (singing, random sounds, etc), so this could be a stimuli for him aswell! I like to imagine so :D

* based on this, I feel like he best fits the hyperactive and impulsive type adhd, that's just my opinion tho! Idk man he's just very adhd coded to me,,,
