• Originally the main villain wasn't supposed to be Xornoth but Vatuu. But continuity established in Avatar made me realize I needed to change that.
• In the same vein, Ranboo was going to be bonded with Vatuu and become a dark avatar.
• I wanted to focus more on Republic City being overrun but didn't want to drag on the plot more than necessary
• Dream was originally not supposed to die
A big thank you to everyone for reading. I've had so much fun writing this tale. I plan for this to be a single book and have no sequels in mind. I might write a few one shots that didn't fit neatly into the narrative if that's something you guys are interested in. They'll all be published in this same book to keep everything organized.
While I do have more MCYT books planned, the next one being a three part series called The Crimson River, each one won't be published until it's completely finished.
