"Alright Riles, same place?" I heard Michelle ask, she had her phone on speaker so we could hear her too. It was essential but Michelle did it without even being asked
"P, I'll be there in a second. Start working on the first count" Riley said before the conversation turned back to Michelle
"Oh yeah, sorry I'm currently teaching. You never call at a good time do you know that?" Riley asked making Michelle laugh
"It's a talent of mine. So same place as last time yeah? You can get ready at mine" Michelle said before Riley hummed
"Sure but I'll be in a desperate need of a shower before we even think about going anywhere. Since leaving you this afternoon all I've done is sweat" Riley said 

Something tells me that wouldn't having this kind of conversation if she knew we were all sat next to Michelle looking through everything for tonight

"Dirty girl Riley" Michelle teased making it evident that Riley would probably have rolled her eyes at that
"Can I get back to work now? Someone has to fund tonight you know" Riley bit back making Michelle chuckle
"See you at 6 Riles" Michelle said 
"See you later" Riley said before the line went dead causing Michelle to look up in our direction

"What does she do for work?" Hunter asked making Michelle raise a brow
"Isn't that your job buddy? How don't you know that basic fact" Michelle said making Hunter roll their eyes. I never understood the tension before the two of them but we all just tend to ignore it

"She's a dance teacher" I said making Hunter glance at me
"A dance teacher? And you're still convinced she knows about Daddy's plans?" Hunter asked but I shook my head
It was quiet the opposite really. I didn't think Riley knew anything about it now. I think that she barely even knew who her father was
But I want to know how she's lived her entire life with him but never put two and two together

"You know, your car looks so dodgy around here James" Michelle said through the car. She had called us as soon as she pulled up to Riley's work. We were also close by, close enough to see Riley come out and close enough to get to Michelle if we needed to 
We wouldn't need to but the thought is always there
"That's because this area is dry" West said making me nod as I pulled behind some other cars to make it less obvious 

"She's coming out now. Wait James isn't that-" Michelle said making us all look up while my eyes widened looking at my little sister stood with Riley

"Here" West said handing my an airpod making me realise Riley has the same jacket that Michelle wired the other day 
"You did great today Piper" Riley said smiling at her, Piper seemed to match the smile which was rather surprising
Now I'm not saying Piper is a moody teenager but she certainly isn't one that walks around smiling
In fact she isolates her self more often then not which is why I'm so confused as to why she is here

"I don't think so but thankyou Riley. I can't believe that I'm actually able to do this" Piper said 
"Nonsense P, you're doing perfectly. I would have killed to have some of your technique when I was your age. Remember what we always say" Riley said making Piper smile again with a nod
"You will always be your toughest critic" Riley added before pulling Piper into for a tight hug before Piper disappeared over to Mum's car as it pulled into the lot 

This shit just got a lot more complicated if Piper is involved.. 

"Did you know?" I asked Eldon who shook his head. Both Hunter and Eldon handle the information. When it came to Riley and her work, Eldon was on that task. He should have been able to know that Piper was one of her students, that Piper would ever be here

If all of this goes south, I can promise you now.. I'll do my worst to anyone who thinks about touching her

"What's upppp!" Michelle cheered the moment Riley got into the car. At this point she had hung up the phone and we were only hearing it through Riley
"How was the kiddos" Michelle asked again
"Lovely as ever. We've had a new girl start over the last few weeks and she's a sweetheart" Riley said making it clear she was probably talking about Piper
"Yeah? What's she like?" Michelle asked 
She was likely digging for information she would know I would want to know.. Like how close Piper and Riley really have become 

"She's timid and shy but after some of the things she's talked to me about the last couple weeks I'm not surprised. I've been giving her free one to ones after group lessons every day for the last 2 weeks and honestly she's so great at it all! She just needs to develop the confidence" Riley said as we all started driving 

"What sort of things has she spoken to you about?" Michelle asked as if reading my mind
"I don't think it's my place to talk about. I know you don't know her and it would never get back to her but I still thinks it's a breach of trust you know?" Riley offered making my huff 

She isn't supposed to be like this. She isn't supposed to get along with everyone, she isn't supposed to have this sort of heart

She is supposed to be like her father. The heartless prick that I've spent my life watching my Dad plot against

Riley is supposed to be the freaking enemy...
