Sabre's POV
An embarrassed wheeze escaped Sabre as Green Steve patted his back slightly harder than intended.
"It's not embarrassing! It's alright to let your emotions out every once and awhile." Green Steve said which did almost little to nothing to the embarrassed Sabre.
The Steve chuckled softly as he swept Sabre off his feet and carried him to a couch.
A muffled groan escaped the human's mouth as Green Steve's chuckle died out and became silent giggles.
Sabre breathed in and out before lifting his head up from his knees and straightened his legs.
Silence took a toll in the room. Sabre always found it weird how, at random moments, the voices would just stop talking.
The ambience of the room was calm and soothing, the occasional fire crackling was the only noise that was being made.
Sabre looked down at his feet as he cleared his throat and said "Sorry for- whatever that was earlier" Rubbing the back of his neck, his eyes glued to his feet.
"It's alright Sabre." Green Steve replied as Sabre smiled softly. He knew he wouldn't react negatively, he shouldn't have stressed himself out.
The Steve had a sudden and visible shift in expression from calm to distraught. Sabre's mouth turned into a line as he glanced around frantically.
Why did his expressions change? Did something feel wrong? Was it the weird aura thing he could do that was causing this?
Green Steve's gaze that was directed right next to Sabre shifted to him specifically. The look in his envy green eyes told him to not move even a singular atom, and this is his friend, his closest friend. So of course, Sabre predictably followed his mental order.
The Steve's gaze then turned back to whatever was right next to him as he took a small step forward. He oh so subtly winced causing Sabre to look confused.
He opened his mouth as if to speak but nothing came out, as if something was stopping him.
"Sabre" He started with as Sabre looked at him in the eyes.
"Do you feel anxious? Afraid? Frightened?" He asked, his eyes darting from something and back to Sabre.
"No" Sabre responded nervously with a shaky voice.
Green Steve swiftly but roughly grabbed Sabre and pulled him into a hug, stepping backwards slightly.
He leaned into Sabre's ear and whispered "Go." Sabre was reasonably taken back by this and whispered back "What?"
"Go now, and don't look back."
The Steve responded with as the arms that were tightly wrapped around him loosened up. Using this to actually assess the situation, Sabre pushed him off gently and stepped backwards.
"What are you talking about?" He said, his tone being concern. "Sabre!-" The Steve yelped and his foot jerked forward as if he was gonna fall.
Sabre's demeanor shifted from nonchalant to concern as a faint and soft giggle registered in his ears. "This isn't good, huh." He blurted out before feeling his windpipe being crushed.
His hands reached upwards but were pulled away by an invisible string. A light shone through a nearby window, gleaming green strings wrapped around his wrists.
Sabre's breath quickened as he struggled to breathe. His gaze shifting from the strings to Green Steve, thanks to the light, he could see the strings also wrapped around his body.
