The Yellow Leader's Room

The leader of the yellow Steves stared blankly at the paper in his hands, glaring at it as if it offended him. His anxiety trickled inside of his brain as he endured the painful, screeching silence inside his room.

H-he can't possibly be missing!

Right?

His grip on the letter tightened as he re-read it for the third time.

'Salutations leaders.

As of yesterday, Sabre had been reported missing and no one saw where he had gone. Today, M and many others reported that they saw Sabre running to the gates and quickly disappeared into the outskirts without an explanation. And so, I am asking permission to send out a search party with 30-45 people in it.'

His mind cared not for the rest of the message, his eyes were fixated on the second line of the letter. He took a deep breath before walking to his desk and placing the paper unto it.

His honey yellow eyes glanced around his desk, briefly skimming over one paper to another. The last few days have been busy with many Steves reporting that they've been attacked by an 'invisible threat'. He pushed the letter aside and took another paper from the huge pile that was stacked neatly on his desk. It reported that a Steve was attacked by parrots and it also reported that said Steve heard the parrots chirping irradically but also rhythmically.

He pushed that report away and read another one. It reported that many yellow Steves gained concussions and/or passed out due to the door of their homes being wrapped in a sticky, see through material. Fortunately, no one has had a major injury from it but it has become a nuisance to the yellow Steves.

He pushed that paper aside and read another, only this time, he was just gonna skim over it.

Three yellow Steves reported having water dunked onto them right when they left their home.

A yellow Steve fell into a four feet deep hole.

Multiple yellow Steves reported hearing tapping inside their walls and footsteps inside of empty rooms.

One reported that their house was covered in signs.

Another reported that they swore they saw multi-colored Steves.

This report piqued the attention of Yellow Leader as he slid the paper back in front of him, properly reading through it this time.

It reported that a yellow Steve saw multi-colored figures across various sections. Everytime they got close to one to get a better look, they would vanish in a blink. After encountering more than four of them, they started to hear distant voices even if they were alone, and the worst part, they were talking to Sabre. They had heard Sabre's name mentioned in a conversation between the distant voices, they couldn't properly hear what it was about since it was muffled at times but they got a good outline on the topic. After a day later and the quiet voices haven't ceased, they started to see multi-colored Steves. They managed to actually approach one and try to converse with them, but the figure didn't answer, the figure only seemed to talk to an invisible force.

'I need to bring this up to the other leaders.' The Yellow Leader thought as he stood up from his chair in a quick jolt which caused the chair he sat on to tumble backwards.

He grasped unto the report as if his life depended on it as he sped-walked to his door.
