"BONNIE! WHERE'S THE SPARE CASING?" I yelled. Bonnie had broken a nail while racing Roxy, and I needed to get him a whole new hand because his claws were literally a part of his hand. It was dumb, and insanely frustrating, but I knew I'd have to live with it until I saved up enough to buy that 3D printer I'd always wanted. Then I could try making some real epic casing.
"It should be in there!" I heard him shout in reply, his voice muffled because he was in the protective cylinder, "Just keep looking!"
I huffed, but continued searching. I'd found some mangled endos, a box full of earrings for the animatronics, eyes, voice boxes, and other various parts.
I did find something amongst the chaos that caught my eye. It was a really old-looking cardboard box in the corner of the room. It seemed to be so full of stuff that it was bulging, and it was covered in so much dust I couldn't read the label. I felt almost... drawn to it.
I kneeled in front of it, and wiped the dust off the front of it. It read, "Ballora."
My curiosity piqued, and I opened it. There was a mini dust explosion when I did, but after a lot of coughing, I finally looked inside.
I saw old sketches, color palettes, and circuit boards. All of which I found fascinating. I picked up the sketches and gasped.
"Ballora...?"
"Y/N?" Bonnie shouted, "What're you doin' in there?"
I put the sketches back and closed up the box, "Nothing! Give me a second!"
I heard him groan, "Y/N, I'm calling Freddy!"
"Wha-! No, Bonnie, that's not-"
"Hello, Bonnie," I heard, "I heard you broke a nail?"
How did he get here so fast...?
"Shut it, Freddy," Bonnie replied, "Y/N needs help. She's in the closet where they keep all those spare parts."
Freddy made a loud thumping noise every time he took a step, it was kind of funny. "Y/N? Y/N, where are you? I cannot see you..."
I stood up, "I'm right here, Freddy! Um, you wouldn't happen to know where they keep the spare casing, do you?"
"Yes," his eyes glowed bright yellow as he walked farther into the dark space, "I believe there's a rack or some shelves along this back wall." He walked to the wall in the far back and took something off of a shelf very high up.
I face-palmed, "Why would they keep the casing all the way up there?"
"Probably so I could help you. I must admit, you are not exactly the tallest person I've met." (if you're tall, suck it up because Freddy is taller than you.)
I scoffed, "Whatever."
He walked up to me and handed me something slightly heavy, I assumed a new hand for Bonnie, "Here you go, Y/N."
I began walking off, but then I noticed the hand was... attached to something. I looked behind me and felt myself heat up, "Um... Freddy, I think you handed me the wrong hand."
His gaze followed mine, and he let go, "Sorry! Here, this is right one, I promise."
I laughed a bit at his mix-up, then took the correct hand. We walked out of the small room and back towards the protective cylinder. I would have to actually perform the procedure myself, rather than putting the instructions into the console. I walked into the cylinder, where Bonnie was laying down, and began.
