Third Person POV ~~

Sydney hated mornings.

She had never been a morning person, waking up being the prime reason she was always late to school. In the end, Ross or Sarah would have to come by her house and drag her out of bed by the foot so she'd actually go. It's not that she hated school, in fact, she loved learning! But being awake at the crack of dawn just to sit at the back of a desk for 7 hours was not her ideal way of doing it.

The clock on the bedside table read 10:00 AM, the occupant of the bed still sound asleep...

Until now.

JJ slammed the door open, giving a high pitched scream, before jumping head first onto the girl laying on the bed.

"JJ, WHAT THE HELL?!" Sydney exclaimed, trying to push the boys heavy body off of her.

"Rise and shine, cupcake." JJ smiled, turning so his back laid against her front, very much crushing her.

"I can rise and shine when you get your fat ass off of me!"

Sydney gave another shove, JJ rolling off of her finally, giving out a hearty laugh at the girl who was taking in deep breathes, holding her chest.

"Why are you as heavy as a fucking pig?!" She exclaimed, still trying to catch her breathe

"Ayo, that's body shaming, squid." JJ scolded jokingly

"Sue me." Sydney rolled her eyes, sitting up and giving the blonde a glare, turning her head to read the time on the clock, she swung her legs off to the side of the bed, stretching her arms above her head and waking herself up a bit more.

"I'm sorry."

She turned back to the voice behind her, seeing it was very much still JJ.

She raised an eyebrow at him, "For...?"

JJ rolled his eyes this time, sitting up and scooting over to where she was, sitting next to her.

"For bringing up Charlie yesterday, I had no reason to do that," He started, "And I'm sorry." The boy averted his eyes, looking anywhere but her.

Sydney looked him up and down, it was never like JJ to apologize, but when he did he was god awful at it. But the thought counts!

"It's alright, J."

JJ finally turned his eyes to look at her, bewildered, he didn't expect her to accept the apology so quick, considering how badly it was said.

"What?" He asked

Sydney giggled, rolling her eyes at his surprised state, "I said it's okay." Moving one hand to rest on his shoulder and give it a light squeeze. "We all say shit when we're angry, water under the bridge."

JJ nodded his head, giving her a small smile that she returned.

Then he came closer, wrapping his arms around her shoulders as the latter went around his waist.

"Love you, squid."

"I love you, too" She responded, giving him a pat on the back before pulling away, "Now please get yourself out of the room so I can change." She smiled innocently

JJ threw his hands up as if he were offended, "You know you can always change in front of me-"

A harsh smack to the back of his head shut him up immediately, throwing the girl a glare before he hurriedly walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. Sydney giggled, shaking her head at the boys antics before she got ready for the day.
